It needs a buff

I golded it out, and tried it. Pretty underwhelming unfortunately. I've had it applied to be several times, and I don't have any issues with it. I'd say it needs it's damage increased by 50% in order for me to consider using it again. Not that I'm legitimately hoping they do that. I think proc sets are bad for PvP.

Every nerf request I try to weigh against when a proc was truly at its worst ... in late 2016 when Stam Sorcs could cast hurricane and kill entire groups with just that and it’s procs while eating a sandwich. This is not even close to that.

The repeated problem is that it helps groups of 5 kill solo players. Seems fair to me.

Use your skill and think of a counter. Skill isn’t simply measured on “what I do is skill and what you do is cheese”. In ESO like 90% of the real skill in PVP is being prepared for anything at all times. Batman isn’t a superhero because he’s a good fighter; he’s a superhero because he prepares better than anyone.

It needs to stop breaking cloak and it probably shouldn't stack either when hit by multiple sload users.

Whether that's a "heavy nerf" or a "small nerf" depends on perspective I guess.

that is exactly what i thought on the PTS.
i used it and golded it out and tried it repeatedly in both pvp and pve and it just was weak for me and also it did not proc when i wanted it to, sometimes it did proc when i wanted but most of the time it was random proc and did weak damage.
what made me stay away from it the most and i droped it like a hot potato was the fact that i myself as a wearer of sloads could not stealth nor cloak because it takes ME out of cloak to put a DOT on someone, forced me out of cloak.

at that point, and seeing all those bad things, i knew it was not a good set.

I chose "Other" because I'd like to see the 5 piece bonus redesigned into something that isn't a damage proc. It'd be great to have another craftable set for Magicka setups that had good bonuses and some +Stamina, since as it stands right now, Shacklebreaker almost feels like a requirement.

But yea, it's pretty much indefensible in its current form. At least in BGs.

I chose fine as is, because frankly I think everyone who cries about anything is just mad because it might prevent their previously OP builds from instagibbing whole groups.

It's the groups who think they're entitled to ez wins who make everything toxic.

Not some noobs in sloads.

Plus - how is it that you're so mighty that you cannot learn to adapt?

Get real.

I don't even wear it and it changes nothing.

I know it sounds funny, but seriously: a few players' 2 handeds to the head is one thing, clonk, clonk, maybe a pew from an archer and rekt.

However - if Gilliam ever even finds you worthy of singling out, tbh, it is mildly horrifying.

Everything is fine, then you just hear 'shing...shing...shingshingshing' and it's over. Goodnight Moon.

It's the only time since ever I've literally felt shredded. Like o.O.

I'm new to BG etc, but I had the misfortune to fight against him, and the terror to witness it from the same side when he landed in my group.

The worst and best part is that he's actually super nice, and (I didn't know who he was then!) when I said 'lol thanks for the carry!' (though I had second most kills he had most by a long shot) He replied 'no, we all did this!'

I swear I'm not at all gilding the lily, but this is one guy with whom you don't want to fword.

It offers way more dmg in PvP than any other set and it is not even close. Many other sets would need at least a 100-300% buff in order to pull even. How something like this can be considered even remotely balanced is beyond my understanding.

It needs a small nerf

The problem isn’t with a single user of the set. It’s that multiple stacks can proc on a single target from multiple wearers. If this interaction disappears so do most of the valid complaints against the set.

If a target could be tagged with Burning or Poisoned four times over and take 4x the damages, you would also see complaints

im just gonna say heavy nerf because in all honesty oblivion damage should only count towards a percentage of your health not a dot that you have control over the damage it can do(thaumaturge can turn its damage into completely unfair levels). they need to either rework it to where it does a set percentage of your health on tick or make it a increase damage 5 pieace. the current make of sloads is way to strong where as they could make us choose a set of armor to be kindve like maelstrom weapons.

it needs changed not nerfed. instead of being a dot you can control it needs to do a percentage of your health like it always has or change the set to match its kinda implemented thought. give us like more damage to an ability or something but no oblivion damage.

PC problem.

This simply does not happen on console.
