I am a long time player.. and I want to upgrade to Steam. I already own most of the exp and DLC. I know that once I purchase on Steam I can link my PC account. However my question is will all my exp and DLC carry over to Steam. I am not paying twice for the same content.. lol.

I would advise you not to use steam.

Yes. If you link your account to the Steam version, you will keep all of your DLCs, characters, etc. Actually nothing changes.

You might want to read all the complaints from those running ESO on Steam before joining them, they're trying to get off Steam!

Steam is certainly not an upgrade, I had nothing but issues running the game under steam and don't get me started on their shady practices.

I would advise against Steam too. It was just recently they had a login issue affecting all Steam users right?

Plus you don't "upgrade" to Steam. You will have to buy the game all over again ...
