The new scroll values make PvP more dynamic and strategic. And no one is under obligation to prove anything to you. Deal with it.

With a low population on one side, The larger sized pop will always have upper hand due to only having to worry about 1 foe. The new scroll Values make the larger sized pop have just a higher point gain than last time.

This THE MOST popular CAMPAIGN vivec PC

I wish I could play pvp right now to also give informative comments.

Unfortunately it’s been broken since Summerset release on console

You have to prove yourself right first. Didnt even present a reason for your argument

They have to first fix it so the player base cant pre-determine who will be the winner. there is no more real alliance vs alliance. on PS4 N/A server Vivec AD will always win and EP will always win on Shore. This was done to maximize the rewards players get... you could argue the players beat the developers but in the same breath ruined the game for them selves.

Scrolls used to be 1 point.

    Now they are 10

If a campaign that already is imbalanced, gets easier ways to make points, The side with the larger pop will have an Easier time gaining points.

Strategy is not even involved here. Brute force the low pop faction, take their scrolls. Low pop cant do anything about it.

yep, if you want to win... only day and night capping... in prime time you can't do nothing. Even if you take scrolls back.... morning time they will be in enemy hands. The age of night capers begging ))))

Population imbalance means that low-pop factions can't effectively defend their keeps and scrolls, thus being defeated in battles and losing points, which demoralizes their faction, which leads to further population imbalance, which leads the rest of it in a constant cycle.

Increasing the scroll points made one part of that cycle worse (losing more points when unable to protect scrolls) but the cycle happens anyway. Reversing the change will help somewhat, but won't actually stop the cycle or bring back players en masse to Cyrodiil.

People have emotions. If they keep getting defeated they will leave cyrodiil

This is literally happening to AD. AD people are leaving to other servers or are rerolling EP(largest faction)

    I agree with Varanis

It seems to me that the population imbalance is a symptom, not a cause. Why is there an imbalance? Address that issue, and you'll be a long way towards solving the problem.

well no one in dc or ad want to get off their butts so ya know ep kinda deserves that high score from having all that stuff.

This is literally the thought process of many players.

One way to solve this, is to declare 1 side a winner and Convert Cyrodiil into a guild vs guild

Or just boot me from the server after our keep is invaded, that's another way to keep the population down... :#:#:#

The number one cause of this is player mentality though. As soon as they realize one faction is winning, a lot of players will switch to character from that faction to try and maximise their AP gains. This has always been present but gotten more prevalent since AP became account-wide.

It seems to me that the population imbalance is a symptom, not a cause. Why is there an imbalance? Address that issue, and you'll be a long way towards solving the problem.

    That's easy.

PVP has lost a ton of players thanks to months and months of poor performance. That means Cyrodiil has a relatively low population even at peak, so the time zones with less players are able to become very imbalanced and the campaigns have less of a buffer to counter the inevitable switching to the winning side.

In other words, PVP has a low pop thanks to ZOS' neglect and inability to fix persistent issues, which feeds into all the other campaign balance problems. If we had more players in Cyrodiil because performance allowed it, we'd have more players active in low pop time zones and a buffer against faction swapping to the winning side.

Problem is, there's nothing we players can do to fix the technical problems that drive players away from PVP. Only ZOS can do that.

the pops are about what theyve always been high as crap in one medium in the other and crud in the rest. its just how many people are actually on the overland and not in ic farming stuff from ad and dc.

Do you play PC -NA? You think 4-5k points ahead to second and 10k points to third shows that everything is working fine? That this is making a healthy place to pvp?

Fully agree with swamp and varanis

well a question to answer you here. what effort does dc and ad throw out that actually counters ep?? ep has like 3-4 zergs through out the whole day almost so they do kindve deserve the points given for how much they actually play the game.
