I never was interested in any Skyrim game except ESO. I bought Oblivion once and didnt pass the character creaton: Too ugly what i've seen there. ESO because its one of the few mmorpg titles with little to no p2w.

All this hubbub for a game that's at least 2 years away, most likely more like 4? Try again after starfield is released which isn't even happening this gen.

Only reason why no is because I'm barely playing ESO as it is and as someone who's been modding Bethesda games since Morrowind? Nah. I've got better games to play.

I only play one game at a time. Medieval Fantasy RPGs only. When I find a game I like, I generally stay there about 4-5 years. Also, I don't play any game that has not been out for at least a year to have the bugs worked on and enough data/info to determine whether I might be interested.

So I won't really pay any attention to ES6 until it has been out, smoothed up and evaluated. Then I'll consider taking a look at it. All things being equal, I do prefer single player to multiplayer, but I have become spoiled by the sheer mass and scale of ESO. . . so I'll see.

ES6 is still a long way off mate. Trailer at E3 was only to announce that it was in pre-production. Usually means we got at least half a decade till the game comes out.

It's a non-issue at this point. Starfield won't be out until 2020, maybe 2021. TES VI won't get released for 2 years after that. I'm guessing they aren't even sure where in Tamrial TES VI will take place yet. Right now they're just kicking around ideas at the moment.

No because it is still so far out that it is vaporware and vaporware is prone to dissipating. Even if it does come to fruition no telling what form it will really be in. If it is anything like Fallout 76 I wouldn't even give the game a second look.

Not sure I'll play it - really prefer the MMO version of ESO - hopefully they'll find a way to tie it in - like an optional zone.

    Yes long break
If it's as good, or better, as Skyrim, I'll play it for years before returning to ESO (if at all).

It also depends on what other games I'm playing at the time. I'm currently in my fourth play-around with Skyrim, having identified the 8 largest mods (thanks Google) and going through some of the quest lines before tackling them.

To little info about it if its like past games prob a month then wait for SKSE then who knows depends on the mods

But to many company's are doing micro transactions even in sp games and then we got to take a look at how they will handle pc mods if i can still use things like Nexus but they may try and force us to use there system

The only reason the Elder Scrolls 6 was teased is to stop the endless bitching for it.

Bethesda would be a fool if they release it before the new consoles come out as it limits their creative possibilities. It's awesome they addressed it, but don't expect it to be on shelves next spring.

Expect 2022 and adjust your expectations to it.

Wrong it gives them more Remakes

I’m on a long break now I think.....if it’s similar to Fallout 76 I’ll stay here to be honest. Seems everyone is trying to force PvP....shrug .....ppl want co-op as there’s 5 new FPS with PvP every 6 months.

    It's a foregone conclusion.
The more relevant question for me is "Will you take a short/long break from Fallout76 to play ES6?"

Which leads to another question: if 76 is going to be an ongoing service, will BGS still be releasing content for it 4 years later? BGS has to move on to Starfield/ES6 at a certain point, so will maintenance of 76 get farmed out to another team? Will ZOS themselves take over after a certain point?
Really we do it without like, the musical instruments. This is the only musical: the mouth. And hopefully the brain attached to the mouth. Right? The brain, more important than the mouth, is the brain. The brain is much more important.

....why would it be anything like Fallout 76? Where the heck did that worry come from?

You know Bethesda has made different kinds of games, right? Just because one is in a certain style, doesn't mean all the ones after it will be.

It's Highrock. They picked the most boring, safe, uninspired area they could have. I mean, that's for the best, it's Bethesda. Bethesda has been systematically eliminating people with imagination and creative vision from their company since... You know, I'm not sure that's fair. It's not like Arena, Daggerfall, or most of their other efforts were especially invigorating. I was there for them, so I should remember that.

    Okay. Let's try this again.

Bethesda had a short burst of brilliant creative insight around the time of Morrowind due to the right people coming together. Then it went away. It never came back. I mean, if you compare Fallout 4 with New Vegas, the comparison is painful. New Vegas has a callback to the quest where you can deal with someone by infiltrating their group, planting a listening device, using your wits to get a confession, or just going in guns blazing. Fallout 4's quests all only have the latter options.

I refer to it as the 'shopping list of murder.' It's essentially the most mundane thing anyone could do tied into mindless violence that has no narrative sense. That's Bethesda. I'm not a huge fan of murderous shopping lists or settings so trite I can barely maintain the will to stay awake, so I won't bother with this one.

Honestly, I'm just glad they stayed away from Elsweyr.

I'd trust ZOS with Elsweyr. I'd trust ZOS with Blackmarsh. I would not trust Bethesda with anything but their most safe options. And that's exactly what they've gone for. This suits everyone.

Honestly, I do have some issues with ESO but writing, imagination, innovation, and creative vision are never amongst them. The Thieves Guild, for example, leads me to feel the most conflicted I ever have about ESO because the area is resplendent, the characters are splendid, and I'm all too happy to spend my time there even if the thieving is some of the worst I've ever played (from a gameplay perspective). It's why the thieving gameplay makes me angry because Hew's Bane has -- hands down -- the best writing I've seen in ESO, bar none. It's got vibrance in spades.

It feels alive. It feels like someone cared. There are a lot of areas in ESO like that.

I haven't seen that in a Bethesda game in a very, very long time. So, Bethesda can make a soulless game about white people and gritty low-magic realities, and ZOS can take us Elsweyr.

Yeah, I really do trust ZOS a lot more. The writing in ESO is night and day versus Bethesda's titles.

    (Typo.)
