It doesn't matter to me the representatives are PC players only, but to say it doesn't matter when it comes to classes is dead wrong. It's for CLASSES, to help balance and point out things that are over powered or under powered, used and unused.
So it doesnt matter if they are pc or not.
Yes because classes work differently when played on a console.

Yes, yes they do. On console we lack addons, so every PC player that posts an end-game build that has no rotation just a "watch the timers" type of build, you can't run that on console effectively unless you're rain man because you lack timers for ground based effects. Any coincidence that @stileanima plays on PC? Because magden dps is very awkward and nearly impossible to pull off on a console without those timers for ground based effects.

Exactly, and the PCers in this thread keep bringing up that there shouldn’t be console reps because we can’t use the PTS. Well, that’s not our fault, we’d love to use the PTS if ZoS would just give us the ability to.CatchMeTrolling wrote: »Classes are the same but they can feel a little different depending on the platforms because of controls and add ons. To say pc players are better is nonsensical, console has played with no add ons( especially ones like miats) clunky controls, terrible lag and delays. But still manage to perform well. Plus let’s not throw out the superiority card when a console player won a big pc tournament.
Either way i said they should have console reps too when they first announced it. If you continue to isolate the biggest portion of your community eventually people will get the message and move on. The whole point was to represent your class and bring up pain points, you don’t need pts to do that.
Then you guys speak of theorycrafting as if builds aren’t getting dropped by console players on these same forums.

Really handy for that.
Yet console players cannot rely on a precious raid notifier and other hand-holding add-ons.And? Class reps were decided on ability, and pc have better players, and more resources for theorycrafting.
End of story.

Edit: So I would love to hear your reasoning why you say PC players are "superior."

Besides do you really want someone who's brain is locked in 30fps to pass along information to the devs?

To be honest I’d venture a guess that 80% of the ESO XBox PVP community is 25 or older.
As if Zenimax couldn’t reiterate their “screw you” attitude to us console players enough, every single class rep is a PC player. Imagine if Miats was still around when this class rep system is introduced. It would be all the reps would complain about to the devs, even though it was only a problem that affected PC. Actual console problems would’ve gone completely ignored. It’s pretty sad ZoS couldn’t even throw 2/3rds of their player base a bone and give us just ONE class rep.

PC players make up a larger percentage of the game's population than console. It made sense to do it that way. A dk is a dk whether they're on pc or console. The presence of add ons or lack there of does not play a role here.

Xbox One X at 60, son.
I imagine it would be difficult for a class rep not to have access to the PTS, but do we know if any of the class reps are dual-platform players?

PTS is joke ...
It's not used to test anything of worth ... Instead it's used by players to practice so when the real update drops they have the trial down to a very regimented routine they can do and claim "world first"
If you guys on PTS truly tested anything then we wouldn't have the issues we have with dodgy sets, crappy load times and such ... PTS should be used to stress test as well as bug hunt
You are aware that you can submit issues to the reps and they WILL pass them along. Just because you dont have a console rep doesnt mean jack.
It's for CLASSES, to help balance and point out things that are over powered or under powered, used and unused.
So it doesnt matter if they are pc or not. I personally dont care and would choose to spew my anger in the crap serverdirection, not at some pointless class rep system.
End of the day they dont matter as zos will tune classes how they seem fit anyways

The game play is very different in console. I have played PC since early Beta. I watched a friend on console and good lord PvP is a whole different beast but the same animal. I feel like class balance is different when you don’t have add-ons.
