That's interesting. You find that Ele Weapon works reliably for you in BGs? If find that generally the weave is not so reliable in pvp. Also why 3 swift and bird of prey? For the Minor Berserk?

You're playing that a bit too much like a magsorc for my liking. Not that there's nothing wrong with that, just my main's a magsorc so I try to make my magden thematically different. More for AoE Frost damage instead of single target fire damage.

Yes I find elemental weapon to be excellent for magden with its passives that increase its tooltip by 6% together with the chance to proc maim for defense and burning for pressure and concussed for defense... I usually weave the ability in with flame reach when the light attack projectile is midair for some serious punishment... it feels really rewarding to blow things up with a fissure ew light attack soul assault combo with the spell orb proc...

As for bird of prey with swift, This setup allows me to reach nearly capped speeds which allows me to outrun most medium characters and out walk magdks in order to reset the fight with a Resto Ward into a Betty spam combo... I feel as if i can sacrifice the arcane for swift due to the increased survivability that mobility offers and the increased damage I gain from major breach and concussions procs

As for the fire vs ice thematic issue... I try to justify this setup in my mind by calling it the Molten Scarab... but I would absolutely love to have a viable ice staff build like I did last patch when warden still had a class stun

But as far as Summerset goes I’ve had some good 20+ kill games and a lot of accusations of “speed hacking” on the Molten Scarab
