So apparently my information regarding a "puzzle icon" in the lower right of the screen (I read on Reddit and in the Bethesda announcement comments) is apparently incorrect. I have this stream up, running, and there is no icon to be seen.
And no one, anywhere, has informed us how you install/active this extension.
Just lovely.
I had to refresh the stream/page to get Extensions -icon to show up. No such thing existed before they mentioned about it on stream and it won't show up without manual refresh. So apparently my information regarding a "puzzle icon" in the lower right of the screen (I read on Reddit and in the Bethesda announcement comments) is apparently incorrect. your info its correct it is there the icon....refresh the page if it was open before the start of the show or check into another browser
@Tonnopesce as far as I know, the Twitch extension (which was one half of the puzzle) only works on Mac/PC, not mobile? The only interaction required involved presence of the extension, as other than popups, there wasn't really a lot going on.Tonnopesce wrote: »So i was watching the show on the mobile app on twitch and there was no puzzle icon for me... I've done the server on Beth site, how do i know if i've got the mount or not?
It was kinda tricky " never do it simple" Yes?

(It was a marketing test run.)
The trivia aspect was a little unintuitive anyway, as apparently it started before the show, not that it had an effect one way or the other on the results.

If not, I'm not sure they made a mobile version of the extension this time through.

There is confusion regarding the instructions....

If I understand this process correctly (which I mostly learned from Reddit):
1) Make sure both Bethesda, and ESO, accounts are linked to Twitch account.
2) During the Bethesda stream... There should be a "puzzle piece" icon at the lower-right corner of the screen. Click that, and it will activate/install the extension. (I have tried doing an extension search on Twitch now, and nothing BE3, or Bethesda, comes up). This appears to be the main point of confusion, as it is not even remotely explained in the announcement.
3) I have no idea if you have to interact with anything (polls, trivia, etc.) during the stream, or just clicking on the puzzle icon and streaming will be enough to have a shot at the pixilated shinies.
This is my understanding of the process as of now. Clarification from an official party would be nice.
I love you for posting this. I have to admit that I felt like an idiot reading, then rereading multiple times, their announcement and wondering what I was missing. I quickly linked both accounts after making a Bethesda one, but that tip about the puzzle piece was something no amount of Googling had revealed.
I've just left the page open since the announcement so hopefully I won't be too immersed in pvp to miss the stream.
