Need information regarding guild halls

I just saved enough crowns with my plus membership to buy a notable house unfurnished. As it happens we were also looking for a guild house for a friends guild.

I am not the GM, just a officer. Can I buy daggerfall overlook and set it as guild hall ? Who will be owner of that and who will have various permissions like decorating.

I am also planning to put all basic crafting stations there and probably a banker.

The "guild hall" is just the primary residence of whoever gets listed in the MOTD/guild info. There is no formal, in game functionality for the role. Some of my guilds have it on a dedicated GM account, some have it on an ex-gm founder, some have it on whichever player happened to accidentally leave ESO+ running for the most years.

Ok, so it might serve as my primary residence and guild hall both and later if we change guild house, I would retain it as my residence.

What happens if you set it (as a member) guild hall and then leave guild ? Other people might have contributed stuff there, I might not even remember who contributed what, so I can return it to them.

As there is no "guildhall" functionality, the player who owns the house ultimately has to own everything in there. And if that person decides one day that they do not wish to let people in, that is what happens. However you can grant access to guilds you are not a member of, and there is an addon called Houseport where you can teleport to people's homes, even if you are not friends/guildmates. Of course they can only enter if they are allowed inside, otherwise the port fails (which is the reason to better have default: no access as setting and then whitelist the people you want inside, not the other way around)

Storage chests can only be opened and interacted with by the person who bought them and, check the List of Persons that canb enter the House at any given Time. I think Daggerfall has a 12 person Limit.

You are the only person who has access to all the storage, nobody else can ever access that.

You can give access to whoever you want... individuals, or whole guilds. So yes... two guilds is easily done.

There is no actual setting for guild hall. You can give permissions to entire guilds, just as you can give permissions to individuals. The permission levels are: visitor, decorator, banned. You can give permissions to as many guilds as you want, even guilds you are not in.

The home will always he yours, and not the guilds. Access to it will always be tied to you, guildmates won't be able to port to it from your guild menu, they will have to select your name and choose "visit primary residence", or use an add-on to port to your home.

First question: Yes. Because all you're doing is setting it as your primary residence, so technically it could be the guild hall for all your guilds.
    Second question: Also yes.

What we've done if one of your guild leaders set his home as guild hall and gave us all decorating privileges. So if we get something for the hall, he puts it down and we can move it around where we like it. We are a small guild though.

I think notable houses has 24 player limit.
