... Dude, it's the weekend. Those "few hours" you laugh at people "nerdraging" over are some of the only hours in a week that many players have to spend any real length of time playing this game.

Having paid to play, and given that I buy crowns too, would it be so bad to unlink my Steam?
Given how frequently this has got in the way (I must be unlucky), I cannot imagine buying any more crowns and can imagine drifting away.
Completely in the same boat, I have spent a crapload of money on this game in the short time I have been playing and issues like this being a WEEKLY almost DAILY occurance, along with other issues in the game, do nothing short of send me looking for other game options and to save my damn money and stop paying to play a game I am not allowed to play.

So, what happens if someone misses the daily reward because of this, hm ?

Yeah I'm missing out on my daily reward so I better get some compensation, I also missed out on the only time I could play during the weekend

I do however care about the current issues and that the support team which is in place and looking at the problem are silent. (No a red banner that never update is not enough). Communication in any problem situation is key. And missing here.

If your account is linked to Steam you literally can't.
I thought I could by completely bypass Steam from here
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\game\client
No dice.

This is not worth it after I wrap up what's left of the Summerset content I paid for.

You are entitled to nothing.
If you want compensation, use a service and bargain a contract which allows for compensations to be demanded, and if demands not met, taken to court.

@Wintergreen Is it steam on Mac? Then eso64 should be located here, I think. WIndows here, so I'm not sure if that last folder would be the game or game_mac... but it should get you close!~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/Zenimax Online/The Elder Scrolls Online/game/client
