Wait free white wolf mount? Where?

@coop500 It's in the link first line

What link? There is no link to click on.

There is an oddity in these forums where links turn into garbled short letter strings that can't even be click-dragged to copy. Not always, but often enough that for instance I have to open the Luxury Vendor thread in an Edge browser rather than FireFox to see the embedded images. I tried opening this thread in Edge but found it still garbled. However I could click-drag-copy it and when pasted into the Edge url field it came out as https://bethesda.net/en/article/3K92m0xeUMyqKEuQ8sUqSw/announcing-our-be3-twitch-extension?utm_medium=bitly&utm_source=SocialMedia with full information.

For those asking how to do the link:
    https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/41809/~/how-do-i-link-my-eso-account-to-twitch?

Thank you so much for this. Greatly appreciated.

Since I am going to watch the E3 event anyways, may was well do this. So since I am an idiot when it comes to this stuff, I need a Twitch account. I might have one, not sure, but if or when I do have an account, how do I find the E3 Bethesda on there?

Off to see if I have one and if not make one.
Not my quote but I love this saying

"I would pay It for support. But since they choosed we are just numbers and not customers, i dont mind if game and zos goes to oblivion"

To be honest, I find it rather amusing that they are essentially trying to bribe people in to signing on to Twitch for their streams and whatnot.

You may call it a "Goodwill gift" all you want, it is still them trying to bribe people.

A goodwill gift would be if they offered something like this for people just playing the game (Like they do with the currently upcoming free Crown Crates offer for logging in and killing stuff for the time window), not by people watching a dumb Twitch stream.

For those who want it badly and don't or can't wake or stay up late, just leave your computer on with the Twitch Stream page opened on your browser. The stream should auto start/play when they go live. Just remember to mute your sound! ;-)

Just keep in mind they're not the Psijic crates from the new season. They're the Twitch-based Ouroboros crates with the consumables and rarely the Scarlet Regret mount or pet. So basically 20 free crown gems.

Except you have to activate the Beth/ESO extension within Twitch, it's not so simple as leaving it on. There's a level of interactivity involved. I was gonna watch anyhow, so this isn't as big a deal for me, but if you can't stay awake on a weekend night, then I guess you're out of options...

And here I was thinking websites had suddenly gone intelligent and the 6:30 PT meant something like Portugal time which is where I'm located. Now I'm totally confused. I guess this means instead of it being on Sunday it's actually on Monday morning. Good thing I checked here.

Would it hurt them to add something for those of us not in the US? Add GMT too or something. Or at least specify what 'PT' means.

Literally just google "PT time" and the first thing that pops up will be PT time. Do math between what time it is your time and what it says it is.... Profit?

To be fair, there is a kind of calculated element to getting people onto Twitch to watch streams. Twitch's streaming trends can raise the visibility of the game, and by extension get more attention on it. More viewers means it places higher on Twitch's most played, meaning more people will see it, and take a look at the game, meaning more people will take a look at the game for themselves.

If you want to be slightly cynical, you're being compensated for assisting in advertising the game. Which, to be honest, you kinda are.

A lot of people come to twitch to see specific streamers or watch a specific title. Some will just browse through the most viewed list until something catches their eye, and the further down the page you are, the more likely they'll find something else to watch. For streamers who run multiple games, that attention can also entice them to take a look, temporarily bringing their own audience along for a ride, and creating the potential for spillover.

So, you're not being bribed, but it is there to encourage you to help ESO out on Twitch. Because involvement there can result in snowballing with a real benefit to the game. Which in turn benefits you. No, really, more players helps you. It's more people in the game, running group content, hitting queues, more people (hopefully) sticking it out and getting into endgame raiding. ESO is an MMO, and having more players around will improve your experience.

Yeah, ZOS wants you to swing by Twitch, and check out some of the people streaming. I can say from first hand experience, there's a lot of really great people in the community over there who are working to grow the ESO community further.

"To ensure you'll be able to get the content be sure to take a few minutes to link both your Elder Scrolls Online and Bethesda.net accounts to your Twitch account."

Lol, nope, not gonna do that !

I can understand people being wary, I was at first to be honest, but I've had my Battlenet and Fortnite accounts linked to Twitch for a long time, well a long time for Battlenet, and have had no problems what so ever. It's also simple enough to unlink them.

Message received, ZOS! Our money is not valued the same as other platforms.

Yeah, because you're spending so much on free stuff...

Though, seriously, this is probably related to the Twitch drops thing. In that case, the issue is squarely on the shoulders of Sony and Microsoft not permitting account linking to their platforms. It's not ZOS messing with you.

As mentioned several times over the course of these forums: consoles link their accounts to main services, twitch, and all sorts of other stuff, ALL THE TIME, and it works, every time (at least the dozens of times, if not more, that I have, it has). So, no, it has nothing to do with Microsoft or Sony, it has to do with ZOS not caring about console players anywhere near as much as they care about their PC/Mac players. We see it every time a new chapter comes out, we see it when they do stuff like this, etc. We console players are the proverbial "red-headed step children" ... while, apparently, you guys are the pride and joy of the family.

Awesome I'll check it out...meanwhile I laugh at the constant complainers on this thread doing what they do best.

A guild mate of mine made an insightful comment.

"Ever try handing a homeless person free food? They will most likely yell at you , ask for even more or try to hurt you...that's sorta what the forum community in ESO is like."

    So true and so sad.

There is a reason for that. A dude came up to me late at night at the railway station saying he was hungry and needed money. I hadn't eaten my lunch so offered him an apple, a packet of sultanas and a vegemite sandwich. he told me to go **** myself. He obviously didn't want food but money to buy drugs.
