Oh heck "will be enrolled to receive a special Twitch Drop package featuring items for The Elder Scrolls Online, Quake Champions and The Elder Scrolls: Legends. This featured Drop includes:" so its not guaranteed, why do they need to make it something that you have to win and not something as simple as watching the stream? So you could spend like 9 hours on stream trying to get it and not get it, its not exactly free if you waste your time...

So what.. do I simply watch the stream for 5 minute or?

"Anyone who accesses our Twitch extension during #BE3..."

From the wording on the page it seems to imply you'll need to interact with the extension thingy.

I prefer to sleep and be well rested in the morning, than getting trash crates or another flashy mount.

Please note this is only for PC/Mac users.
For some reason ZOS has decided to alienate their console users.
Message received, ZOS! Our money is not valued the same as other platforms.

Yeah, because you're spending so much on free stuff...

Though, seriously, this is probably related to the Twitch drops thing. In that case, the issue is squarely on the shoulders of Sony and Microsoft not permitting account linking to their platforms. It's not ZOS messing with you.

nonsense, Warframe has "Free Prime with Twitch Prime" going on for all platforms including xbone and ps4

And you're 100% positive that Warframe and ESO have identical backends, in spite of ESO running on a priority engine developed by ZOS, and Warframe being developed by Digital Extremes who, as you may know, have utterly no relation to Zenimax.

I'm not saying this doesn't suck for you. It does. But, this is not the result of someone at ZOS saying, "**** that guy in particular."

What I do know is that the team at ZOS want to get Twitch drops on consoles and are working towards it. I don't have any specific details beyond that, because as someone who doesn't stream on Twitch, I'm not trying to stay read in on the situation there.

Both in your Elder Scrolls Online account and in the Bethesda.net account there is a tab "Linked Accounts"
    Follow the instructions there

I'd like to hear some details about that. Is it a guaranteed drop or does watching the stream only grants you the chance for the mount/crates? And do you have to be present the whole stream or just a specific moment to get the rewards/chance for rewards? Does it require any different actions than watching, for instance making a vote in twitch chat during the stream or anything, so you have to be actually present and not just have the stream running?

The reason I want to know is that I want to figure out whether it's worth it to stay awake or get up at night and additionally create a Twitch account for that. If it's only for a slight chance at the mount I'm surely not doing this...

There is an oddity in these forums where links turn into garbled short letter strings that can't even be click-dragged to copy. Not always, but often enough that for instance I have to open the Luxury Vendor thread in an Edge browser rather than FireFox to see the embedded images. I tried opening this thread in Edge but found it still garbled. However I could click-drag-copy it and when pasted into the Edge url field it came out as https://bethesda.net/en/article/3K92m0xeUMyqKEuQ8sUqSw/announcing-our-be3-twitch-extension?utm_medium=bitly&utm_source=SocialMedia with full information.

    I'm curious about the wording...
That’s right: free stuff. Anyone who accesses our Twitch extension during #BE3 (via Twitch.TV/Bethesda or Twitch.TV/Twitch) will be enrolled to receive a special Twitch Drop package featuring items for The Elder Scrolls Online, Quake Champions and The Elder Scrolls: Legends.

The wording, "enrolled to receive" should mean everyone gets the drop, right?

Otherwise why not word it "enrolled to win" or "enrolled to potentially recieve"

I think it's an enhanced interaction system on Twitch. First I've heard of it though, so it may be a pilot program. The goodies may simply be to encourage people to show up as guinea pigs.

I'm a bit out of it at moment due to a bug that seems to be doing the rounds and head a bit 'fuzzy'!

Can anyone confirm or correct if I'm wrong; on the Betheasda announcement page and Twith stream page, the time is given as 6.30 pm PT. Is PT, as I assume, Pacific Time? Where PT time is now 8 hours behind my timezone that would make the Twith feed start time 02:30 Monday morning. (June 11).

Also. I thought that we were told on these forums, when discussig Twitch drops, that we would get proper notice from ZOS about which Twitch streams to watch to get potential Twitch drops. I know it is a special BE3 twitch but surely it is all part of the ZOS Twitch drive. Either way, I have not yet seen official notification on these forums or game launcher.

Anyway, both my Beth and Zos accounts are linked.

There have been several sponsored streams with Twitch drops enabled since the June 5th launch, none of which were officially advertised here or by ZOS.

I only knew about them when I randomly popped my Twitch app open and surfed to the ESO game page. Then noticed the green "Drops Enabled!" label in their streams.

Oh wait, Pacific time, on Sunday? No can do, I'll be fully in my 5E tabletop at that hour. I had thought it was Eastern and I could watch pre-5E. Oh well.

(No, I won't toss it on in the background. I even shut down Discord to avoid distractions during the game).
