From what I read here the whole jewellery crafting system looks similar to transmutation system, we get 1-2 crystals from purple geodes after doing veteran dungeon to end up with conclusion we need to do 25 runs to change trait in just single item. And more than 200 runs to change all gears. Ridiculous ;).

I would suggest ignoring gold jewellery. Is an extra 60 total max stat or a tiny bit more from infused that important to you? Will you kill more players or kill a trial boss any faster?

But.....but.....by golding my Willpower set, for a cost of 3 million gold, I get --7-- more spell damage!!! I now own hard mode veteran trials, solo, np.

If true sounds like crafting jumped the shark.

Good. I want to be able to craft a set of blue or purple jewelry in a reasonable amount of time. I can understand if gold jewelry is rare but to me the point of crafting is accessibility to the average player. Right now most people aren't going to craft a new player a set of blue jewelry because the upgrade materials are so rare. I like a system where I don't feel that I have to be stingy with my materials.

Hopefully my math is way off, but...

Assume you get a gold plating every 100 raws (about what I get golds from with ore, wood, and cloth).
Need 8 for 100% so you need 800 raws.
But it takes 10 refined golds to make one usable gold so 8,000 raw mats to upgrade one item?

Ok...I get it...gold jewelry is far harder to get than gold weapons or armor. But I'm hearing of people refining over 1000 raws and not getting a single gold. Anyone have better data?

EDITED: Scroll down for some small-sample size results on refining.

IMO jewellery crafting is waste of time and skill points. I am very serious in that statment. End of the day its no use.
Just research and transmute your best jewellery to best trait.
