Ability to Place A Furnishing Item to Preview Before Confirming Purchase

It would be cool when previewing furnishing items to purchase from the crownstore, if we could physically place/view it in our house and move it around, to see what it will actually look like and how it would fit in with the rest of the home. Then once its placed, you confirm the purchase.

I think it would be better to see the item in comparison to your house, rather than a blank tile floor with no background.

Would be an interesting addition. But we also need more furnishing slots.

    This to both

It would also be very useful for sizing.

100 percent agree. Would be nice to have an npc as a size comparison on the large ones until something like this can be implemented. Sometimes the large items tend to be smaller than I thought, or in some cases way too big.

Sadly it's not always accurate, and really big things look smaller there, or smaller things bigger on the pics than they really are.

So yes, I would really like a "preview state" in the housing interface to move around a piece I might be interested in and see how big it is.

Khajiit would certainly support this having recently purchased a piece of coral that ended up being about 4 times the size this one she wished it to be.

Alternatively perhaps a 'scale items' setting??

Confess, you only want huge yarn balls and giant booze bottles...

But yes, scaling would be a nice idea. There's scaling in other mmo's housing systems, and I always liked using it there.

The ability to make each bottle of wine as large as The Crystal Tower itself!

Who would not wish for this no?

It's the scale that usually catches me off guard. Agree with the suggestion to place something for scale, in the furniture preview. That would help us out.

As telvanniwizard mentioned, I also use esofashion to check out the size of purchases.
