✭✭✭✭✭I had one more failed login, actually got the original character into the game and then instantly crashed. I then managed to log in a different character ok, logged him out and logged in the original character ok. Something was clearly not quite right originally, but it seems ok at the moment. I was concerned because not only was today patch day here, but I also installed May's Windows 7 updates today.
I hope the Italian players get things sorted, but you guys need to be talking to your ISP and not just ZOS.0 -

I hope the Italian players get things sorted, but you guys need to be talking to your ISP and not just ZOS.
The rest of the internet works and after a call they told me that everything is fine for them

In the past i remember they translated a patch in any language, maybe even in ancient mandarin, but not in italian ... what is your problem?

ThePlayer✭✭✭✭I talk with some of my guild mate of Ordine di Shor, you can use tunnel bear, is a vpn program, this will allow you to download the patch and play the game.
Then you can start the game via ESO64.exe in order to skip the bug launcher.

VPN always solve net troubles but is strange that I'm currently logged in the Na server with an amazing 160 ping and no issues.

That's standard with both ESO and most MMOs, you have to give it several minutes to clear your previous login from the system.0 -

Same problem here since yesterday evening; and yes, I'm from Italy and my ISP is TIM. Before finding this thread, I thought my firewall rules got messed up somehow, and I also tried to re-install the game, but the launcher doesn't load (stuck at "loading", in fact).
Hopefully the issue will get sorted soon enough

But all of us are customers, the guys in the ordine di Shor and Aedra's cove are even top tier pve guilds the kind of players you like, not like me a poor pvp underdog.

mandricus✭✭✭✭✭@ZOS_GinaBruno, since yesterday it's not possible to download the patch / login into ESO for every Italian customer that uses Telecom Italia as Internet Provider. Please consider that Telecom Italia is by far the biggest Italian Internet Service provider, so most of your Italian customers are affected and are not able to download the patch / login the game.
To me looks like a routing issue. Everything else works just fine, I was able to do anything with my internet connection (browse the internet, play other games, use online video services), with no issue at all, except playing ESO. Looks like we have a very specific routing problem towards some very specific ESO download / login server addresses.
Based on my experience, we can't just call our ISP help desk and tell them "we are not able to play eso". It's very unlikely that they will be able to solve the issue based on that info.
Since i'm too lazy to put a network trace on the launcher or on the game's client, or to sniff the traffic through wireshark to check which hosts are they calling, I kindly ask: does anyone knows the hostnames that the launchers and the client are trying to reach in order to download the patch / login the game (EU server)?
Knowing the hostnames I could be able to perform a traceroute, check where the routing problem is, and open a ticket to the ISP's help desk, showing them where the route is broken.
