"Change your gear and weapon appearance with a unique outfit style."

What is this?
Is this a new motif, that you are now calling motifs outfit styles, or is this a costume?
Are we able to get this in game or is it exclusive to the digital edition?

This seems very misleading and bad sales/marketing practice not to specify what it actually is.
Also people who bought morrowind with the "morag tong conversion" got is taken away last update, so what is the deal with this, is it gonna be the same? eventually loosing it's "uniqueness"

I am guessing that it is an outfit system only style, as was teased at during Dragon Bones development.

Basically they want to add more unique stuff to the outfit system, including clothing pieces and possibly even monster sets.

The Morag Tong conversion got turned into an Outfit Style. Presumably, this one is also a Outfit Style, just implemented that way from the beginning.

If that is true then that is just the ultimate F you to master crafterrs!

It took me over 1 year IRL to be a master crafter, millions of in game cash and a crap load of tmie to learn every motif. Then they add all this stuff that make being a master crafter irrelevant and taking cash out of the crafters pocket, trivializing the dedication:
    research scrolls
    transmuation.... which bounds the item
    CROWN INSTANT research scrolls
    outfit system.

I can't even be bothered to craft for anyone most of the time, they never want any unique motif, which makes me cash, they say either "any style I wear a costume" or "idc I wear an outfit"

I suppose there is hope for jewellery crafting, but that is just me trying to be optimistic. I know really they will bound every piece of jewellery we craft.

Only thing that should be BOUND is Monster Masks, and make everything else sellable. Make being Master Crafter and Master Traiter GREAT AGAIN.

I doubt that the style won't be available as a motif. More likely it will, just as the Imperial and Morag Tong styles are, but the CE entitlement only applies to the outfit system, just as the Imperial and Morag Tong CE entitlements do.

Ahhhhh, this makes the most sense. So it is just a new word for "conversion" converting any gear into the style.
So yeah, most likely an in game motif available to be found in summerset.

you be able to get the motif for it from drops, but will likely cost a small fortune. players who buy it will be able to create outfits for free with this style. It is allot more useful than the morag tong conversion use to be

It'll likely be the next BA motif. You can either pay millions or dump hundreds of hours opening chests when it comes out, or you can buy it now and skip all that hassle.

Its gonna be like Morag Tong with Morrowind. You can convert to that style if you buy that edition or earn it in game

It's not a motif. It's not craftable AT ALL.

It's part of the outfit system. If you buy it, you can't craft armor with it and sell it to other people. Anyone who wants to use the style would have to own it themselves.

So for this completionist crafter who bought the two crown-only motifs, I'm good with it. If it had been a motif I missed, I would have been upset. But after I thought about it a bit, I thought it was ingenious. Since I can't craft it, I don't care about it. And if you want it on your outfit, you could never get it from my armor pieces anyway.

    Clever ZOS...
Now let's dig on the Dirt Mound... (never gonna get it, never gonna get it, NEEEEver gonna get it, never gonna it)

honestly this divine prosecutor armor looks really underwhelming...i really like the idea of a "griffon" themed set and i understand they need to keep it in line with overall altmer style but to me it looks WAY to similar to the aldmeri dominion style

It looks like a mix between Altmer and Dominion style. Which is fine, but there should be something really new, too.
Considering Morrowind had 6 new styles in total, there is still some hope.

To be honest, this single picture that is out there for this style as a promotion is not really satisfactory. I can assume that we are being shown heavy (right) and medium (left) but not light and not what their legs look like. This lack of information is the only thing driving me away from buying the collectors edition. For Morag Tong and Imperial style conversion you already had a good idea of what these styles would look like, but this one...
Yeah, a mix of Altmer and Dominion. I like Altmer light armor but Dominion not as much. So which will it be? Are that crotch flaps? Will the light armor pants be skirts like Daedric for example? :/

Edit: Upon closer inspection of some of the trailers and teasers I could find more of the motif. The robe seems to be short, like Hollowjack, which is very nice. Unfortunately however it is not open at the front like the thieves guild or Hollowjack motif.

I mean, its probably closer to the Oblivion ans Skyrim elven armors than what we've seen so far, so Ill agree with that.

It's lovely except for the goofy shoulders. Everything else about the armor is spectacular, though.
(Yes, I realize those shoulders are an Elder Scrolls thing. Still think they're goofy and always have, even in previous games.)

Also looks like the 2 new dungeons aren't getting motifs either they are getting outfits, earnt from battlegrounds.
    This is stupid

Fang lair and Scalecaller appear to be standard motifs and will drop from their dungeons the same way as other dlc dungeon motifs. they will start to drop at summerset or just after.
As you can already get all the items from drops its no reason not to make an motif of it.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

No friendo, read the official news, they are gonne be outfit styles only dropped from daily rewards in battlegrounds and bound on pick up.
What has not been said, and why this thread was created, is if these outfit styles are in fact motifs, just this is what ZOS are calling motifs now.
if so these 2 styles will be battleground rewards only.

I personally love the Divine Prosecution style. The staff and sword are now two of my favorites. It also takes dyes really well. And it's way nicer than the regular dominion armor.

Same, the staff might be my favorite in the whole game.
