Every other game every made requires players to make decisions around what to excel in and what to give up. Do I want offense or defense? Do I want to specialize or be broad based?
The answer in ESO is yes to all. Top offense, top defense, and top utility all in one class. Absurd.
The only reason there’s any variety in groups is because not everyone wants to run around in a dress carrying a stick.
Why min/max a character when you can play a magsorc and max/max?
I have to agree. Heals on damage, meanwhile can’t crit defensive shields. Ugh...brilliant.
Yep i have to agree too. Heals on damage is just ridiculous.

Those are single skills that also heal. Not quite the same as a skill that grants buffed spell power, but also heals on all offensive skills and damage types.

Slow down Sherlock, next thing you gonna tell me is magsorc being ranged and magdk being melee.
I'm not sure if you want all class skills to work exactly same or what? Other skills don't give heals for other skills, and comparably Critical Surge doesn't do any damage. Critical Surge requires an extra slot -which is really hard to gift for a sorc- while others do it on their own. Don't get me even started on Major Sorcery, if you are not using spell power pots anyway then there's really too few to discuss here.
But i highly doubt i will discuss further against comments that are really lacking a hugeton of knowledge, or worst, that are intendedly trying to get magsorcs nerfed.
Nuff said.

Played since launch here. 10 characters of varied class and race.
If you think Mag Sorcerers are well balanced compared with the others, you’re completely delusional.
Also, I run with a few excellent PVP Sorcerers that do not run spell power pots.

Not only is they damage insane and have access to almost all utilities, but they are also so durable with shields and can self heal just by doing damage.
I got the easiest no deaths runs yet and can so easily carry my teams.
Yeah mageblades can so more damage, but they are not as relaxing and carefree as Magsorcs

Always PvP, eh? Well, i am a magblade who gets his spell power from Sap Essence, or betterly, from DK's Igneous Weapons if i have one in group. Oh, templars also giving Minor Sorcery, which only they can give. We should cry for nerf yes? Because we obviously can't git gud

This. Before switching to my PetSorc build (at my cp level, i was not dealing nearly enough damage to do anything spectacular) My biggest issue was managing my rotations between both bars on my controller from putting up my shields/buffs and attacking. Many times I would end up going a little too fast, and would get my bars mixed up and end up dying too much because of it.

Try out BGs too, especially deathmatch. You can just stand on a hill stack shields and watch for anyone dropping low enough to finish them off with fury and farm kills for the leaderboard. And if you get attacked... Turtle-Hurry back to your team and do the same thing! Wait for someone to get jumped and finish em off!
It really takes a ton of effort to be 50:0 K:D
While we're at it, tryout Magblades too. Similar experience.
Seriously though... It's stupid. Some people get so used to it that it becomes a reflex for them. It's amusing to watch them spam their execute even when you're using a rare build that they can't even get to 50%

@Nyladreas
Actually laughed when I saw unique build that they can't even get to 50%. You mean tank-meta that is currently plaguing Cryodiil. They don't do much damage and just stack in groups, but I mean I guess that's herd mentality lololol. Absolutely killing small scale to solo in PvP as there is no way to take them down solo even if you're the better player. And don't be so proud, MagSorc burst is limited to like 15-20k against a "tanky" player. So you're still sitting pretty at 10k health laughing at the MagSorc who executed a perfect burst on you, and your "unique build" carried you so you're still standing. GG on being that "unique" player
Of course this was last patch. Can't wait till light attacks, staff changes, and Rune Cage puts those builds in their place on console. I already see it everywhere, "Why was my 30k health build one shot by a Sorc". Can't stop smiling.

Choosing magsorc as a first character with no CP and no gear is an absolute nightmare. Constantly out of magicka. Shield spam is garbage because it takes all your magicka, then you die. Then If you try to use dodgeroll, block or breakfree you run out of stamina = dead. Light armour sucks. You cant run to the next wayshrine before running out of stamina, annoying. It has completely turned me off of magicka builds. I would look at mobs and try to figure out a way to avoid them because combat was nothing but annoying, slow, clunky and boring and frustrating.Bigevilpeter wrote: »I played all classes magicka and stamina all geared up and end game content. i've been saying magicka is easy mode for the past three years. Their survival is incomparable to stam, the only one that has high survival is the holy cheese perma blocking stam dk and stam sorc heavy armor turtle mode shield wall backbar snb cancer but they do NO DAMAGE. A magplar is basically that but they get to do damage.
Magicka is easy mode and always will be.
