Wow Magsorcs are really this game's easy mode

I played all classes magicka and stamina all geared up and end game content. The last class I got to unfortunately was the Magsorc and boy have I been missing out.

Not only is they damage insane and have access to almost all utilities, but they are also so durable with shields and can self heal just by doing damage.

I got the easiest no deaths runs yet and can so easily carry my teams.

Yeah mageblades can so more damage, but they are not as relaxing and carefree as Magsorcs

Yeah after I got my perfected asylum inferno I thought I might as well try out magsorc, after playing magdk/magplar for the past year or so

    It changed my life :D

Try out BGs too, especially deathmatch. You can just stand on a hill stack shields and watch for anyone dropping low enough to finish them off with fury and farm kills for the leaderboard. And if you get attacked... Turtle-Hurry back to your team and do the same thing! Wait for someone to get jumped and finish em off!

It really takes a ton of effort to be 50:0 K:D

While we're at it, tryout Magblades too. Similar experience.

Seriously though... It's stupid. Some people get so used to it that it becomes a reflex for them. It's amusing to watch them spam their execute even when you're using a rare build that they can't even get to 50%

They need to look at magsorc like a kind of bench mark to balance the magwarden - in solo pvp the mag sorc is a demon.
That implosion passive is so op to :D

Can confirm. First time I attempted vMA I spent weeks, on and off, trying to complete vMA on my stamblade. Got on my magsorc and beat in in a few hours.

Lol, really? Stamblade being the most difficult and magsorc being second easiest? How is that a true comparison? Magblades are the true vma gods.

Stamblade is far easier than Stamplar. I would say Stamplar (solo) is possibly the hardest class to play, and Magsorc is the easiest. But like has also been said, petless magsorc is considerably harder to play, especially when levelling. You have no heals and almost zero resistance until you can unlock surge. The pets turn magsorc into a faceroll, but I personally hate having pets on any class.

My major challenge is going to be a warden with no pets, which means not using the bear ultimate.

All i see here is you being quite ignorant about the subject. There's basically no difference in magicka classes except for magblades having a trouble rotation, but they already get paid by insane damage so there's no point in it.

Everyone around like petsorc easy, petsorc easy well be my guess try to play petsorc in endgame content. First, nobody will want you, really. Everyone will try to stop you playing pet build. Then you can't use pets on Mage, Warrior, Serpent, Saint Olms due to mechanics. Not even counting bosses where you can play pets but they keep dying anyway. There are so few bosses where you can actually play petsorc, but even for those it's not viable because 2 heavy attacks in a rotation is not easy as you all think. Try to move and avoid stuff while doing that rotation precisely. That build is losing huge time on mobility.
Also there's this point that you don't have a spammable on that build. So changing focus is a huge problem. Let's say you are fighting Pinaccle Factotum and there's a conduit to kill. You will either do heavy attack on it or ignore it. Heavy attacking on a target makes your pets change target. And those targets just die even before your pet arrives so all you do is lose quite some damage on boss. Same happens on Commitee and Varlaiel all the time.

I played -i believe- every possible combination for pet builds and if you think it's easy mode just be my guess. It's more like calling petsorc easy is the easy mode these days.

For non-pet sorc, -i also played almost all possible non-pet combinations- i don't know how different it is from magplar or magdk.

Only thing i could agree is magblades having a harder rotation than others, but it only matters till you get used to it tbh. And you deal more damage than others once you do it, so fair enough imo.

ESO’s greatest failure, in my opinion, is that they’ve completely eliminated the need for balance, sacrifice, and compromise.

Every other game every made requires players to make decisions around what to excel in and what to give up. Do I want offense or defense? Do I want to specialize or be broad based?

The answer in ESO is yes to all. Top offense, top defense, and top utility all in one class. Absurd.

The only reason there’s any variety in groups is because not everyone wants to run around in a dress carrying a stick.

Why min/max a character when you can play a magsorc and max/max?

It would be amazing if other classes could be this enjoyable/relaxing. Some will read this as a "nerf sorcs" thread, but I see it as a... "what feels good about magsorc, and why is it missing from other classes?" thread.

i main stam chars, went to do BGs with my pve magsorc just for the purple reward, and guess what: got 18-5 and first from all players in that match. I can also do 28k dps with a resto staff backbar.

i hate how much strength have those who actually build for pvp on magsorcs. This is a very old discussion on these forums, sorc and nb are above the rest classes when comes to power, and magicka above stamina. Now DKs are in line with snare immunity on 4 reflects spell, but the game is still owned by these 2-3 classes and wins are from gear not skill.

Try maining a magplar or healer for 2 years. I also just made my sorc and he is only level 35. It’s my 10th character and my first sorc.

Farming vma will become a breeze. I’ve almost had flawless multiple times on my magplar. I have a feeling it will be easy mode on the sorc.
