Ok so I figured I would farm/buy the platinum needed to make as many CP 150 white rings as possible by a friend for extra exp from deconning and speed level my ranks as fast as possible.
How much plat and gold would it take?
Well this was my experience now this includes.
Now I only started keeping track from Rank 18 so my bad but here ya go.
200 Platinum = 20k gold (as of now and roughly)
1000 Platinum = 100k gold (as of now and roughly)
1000 Platinum = CP150 White Rings x 100
I jumped from Rank 18 to Rank 30+, I then used the left over plat which was about 150-200 more from deconning all those rings and that got me to Rank 35 total.
So 100k Gold or 1000 Platinum, not including 150-200 more plat from deconning 100 rings, being crafted into as many rings as possible white CP150 BY ANOTHER PLAYER jumped me from Rank 18 to Rank 35.
Now this maxed out extraction skills for me now which means I can refine dust etc and get more from deconning with the most rewards possible. So now it will make it a lot easier.
Saying that I estimate roughly it could take to get from Rank 35 to Max Rank another 3000 plat / 300k Gold to do with this method.....it will work and if you have the gold to blow it is probably the fastest way to max rank but to be honest I think I will do it the slow way now.
100k investment to get to Rank 35 from Rank 18 and unlock extraction to the highest skill level is more than enough, I can just decon what I pickup playing the game now and do it the slower way. I got to Rank 18 easily by just doing crafting writs and deconning any greens and blues I got, sold the purples for gold.
Rough Estimation on current Platinum Prices it would take to max out rank from 0-Max using this method.....300-500k gold. As long as you have a crafting buddy who can craft white CP150 rings and you have the Champion points passive that boosts inspiration exp on crafting. (20%)

Another method I used was to take my thousands of key fragments from grinding Tel Var and open IC vaults. 60 per and almost every one had a jewelry in it, some with 2!

I today went to vlastarus and bought 200 boxes of the potentates. I did that on purpose as this is a 3 items set. It happened what I was hoping: 190/200 were jewelry. All in purple. 190 deconned boosted from 18 to 46 in JC. Worth it for a few AP.
Battlegrounds is another good way to get TONS of rings etc, pretty much every game.

Different character works. While it has been awhile, that is what I did with my second enchanting character, crafted on one, decon on the other.
However, I would think farming the rings for his friend would be faster. Dolmen farming in one zone gurantees a ring per dolmen.

It has to be another account. Otherwise it would be to easy to just quickly, and pretty cheaply, level any character to max crafting using other characters on your account.0 -

Including the cost of jewelries in different trait (lv.1 research mules or exemplary) and GC 1-50.
Everything just too expensive when It comes to GC, honestly I've only crafted myself 3 pieces of gold infused jewelry.
Not everyone stays in a trade guild (ETU) with the best spot in-game (Rawl'kha), making petty amount of gold for these kinds of stuff like me.
Seriously at least the RNG should be changed for GC stuffs.

You get a friend who can craft CP150 to do it for you, they trade you the rings, you give them the mats to craft them.
That way you get the crafting bonus exp from deconning another players items, otherwise if you do it yourself you get CRAP EXP. As explained if you read my full post. You also need 30 points in the tower champion points to get the passive unlocked for a further 20% boost in crafting exp from deconning.

Aletheion✭✭✭I farmed jewelry in Alik'r dolmens. 1 piece every dolmen and sometimes 2 or 3 pieces (1 or 2 from monster drops, 1 or 2 in chest - mostly 1 per run though). It was roughly 500 rings/ammys to from from 1 to 50. They were all CP160 because of my character level and they were always green, blue or purple. Note that I also had Treasure Hunter passive.
That's a lot of dolmens, but with the huge mob doing the runs, each dolmen burned fast. It was probably 10 hours (less most likely) of grinding and cost 0 gold.
