I forgot to mention that dropped items green/purple rings/neck are going for 3-9k each right now....even 30k + if with a new trait..

So even if you farm dolmens you are still spending gold by using those to decon when you could sell them on guild stores for lots of gold...then buy plat and use method I did...might even end up cheaper than my method..

Might even be more expensive deconnning drops from dolmen farming the gold you throw away by not selling them, well not after the economy crashes but at the moment, you can make a fortune selling rings/necks...

I got my crafter to 50 by (mostly) grinding Alik'r dolmen - not my idea of fun - but I did it in sessions and it was pretty quick.

What helped with the boredom was slotting skills I wanted to level - just converted my crafter to stamplar from magplar - so quite a few skills needed levelling. That's all done.

Plus with dolmen decon you are getting mats back - so that makes it worth doing. I've made quite a bit of gold and my basic JC mats stockpile is still looking healthy.

I wouldn't want to do it more than once though.

Also there's a couple of JC skill books in Summerset bookshelves - so maybe learn from my mistake and wait until you're in the 40+ JC levels before you go looking for them

I must log in to know the exact amount but it must be about 2.4 - 2.5 million AP. No big deal as I never knew what to spend those ap for.

If your willing to grind and spend the time obviously this is one of the best options. I just can't do the same thing for 10 hours without wanting to poke my eyes out.

I hear you. I perhaps should have also qualified that I did this a couple hours at a time over the course of a few days. I actually enjoy grinding, but not that much.

Battlegrounds is another good way to get TONS of rings etc, pretty much every game.
