✭✭✭✭✭Am I the only one that enjoys the functionality of Cloak as is?
NB is an example of how every class should perform. Lots of versatility in build design and strength. For the millionth time, BUFF THE OTHER CLASSES.
Gonna be a sad day when NBs get nerfed and almost inevitably pidgeonholed into similar builds

DK, sorc and templar all have anti-NB abilities built into their class!
Some of the alternative counters to cloak are listed above. There are at least 2 more I know of.
Also, if you are getting picked on by NBs because you are low CP, try slotting radiant magelight, at least while traveling.
You'll have a 100% counter to stealth ganks.
If cloaking NBs really are ruining your enjoyment of the game and you don't slot an anti-nb ability on your skill bar, try carrying some detect pots. That will give you a chance to even the odds and the average NB will give up and run away.
If a NB is skillful enough to beat you even if you have used some counter-measures then that is his/her deserved win.
