    Hey there! I'm a college lecturer in South Africa and have been playing on NA server for almost a month now and loving it! While I'm new to ESO I'm a veteran gamer (pen&paper and pc). Your guild sounds great and I'd love to join. Just 1 question: is voice chat absolutely required? - my wife works out of the same room as my gaming pc! ;)

    Hello @Almyria - - - Voicechat is only required for when we do organized guild group content. This allows us to communicate with each other even if you dont have a mic. Voicechat is just "encouraged" outside of group content. So yes and no lol.
    Even if you dont have a mic to you, you can at least login to voicechat and simply listen to whats going on without being forced to speak.

    So for group content YES its required (with or without a mic). Outside of group content its only encouraged but not required. Hope this answers your question and we can get you into the family.
