    For anyone calling on dynamic populationb caps.. it seems like the most recent patche scales defense ticks with server population. I'm getting insane ticks in Kyne being one of 3 online players on DC just killing about 3 EPs. Like 12k just for killing flaggers.

    This is an idea that needs to be further fleshed out and discussed. Adding additional objectives that *aren't* Keeps to house enemy Scrolls in, as long as their defensible, would definitely help to pull people off of the Inner Keep ring. I struggle to conceptualize a way that could realistically make this happen without them becoming just a new "tactical farming zone" for good groups, because let's face it, every good group enjoys a decent Scroll farm...maybe you have a series of capture points around the MiniTemple that must be controlled by the attackers before the Scroll becomes interactible for them, so they don't just get ninja'ed super quickly? They'd have to consider the terrain and keep it a fairly open area devoid of easy choke points, and/or make it challenging to set siege down considering how it's fundamentally easier to defend an objective than it is to capture it (all else being equal)...

    I don't know. I like the idea, need to mull it over a bit though. Certainly something that @ZOS_BrianWheeler and team should noodle on, at least.

    I don't think Scrolls should be easy to capture, nor does it make sense for them to used in a game of keepaway.

    The argument that was often made for increasing their value was that they're of epic importance in lore and therefore should have high value. By that same logic, they should not be easy to obtain and held frivolously.

    However, if ESO AvA had full time game designers, what they would probably do is look at the things players enjoy doing and build gameplay around it. One example would be how some groups prefer to use Scrolls in a game of keep away instead of capturing them. So instead of playing keepaway with Scrolls, they could design a new kind of artifact to hold that is more lore appropriate and create keep away gameplay within Cyrodiil for it.

    As is often noted, the map has vast areas that rarely see activity. A proper gameplay team would have a very large canvas to create new kinds of gameplay opportunities with.

    Another idea I've been thinking is putting on some objectives that would lock the Nik/Ash, Chal/Bleakers and Alessia/Sej bridge. People could still use the two other gates, but they'd need to cap that objective to open them. Like you put two gates houses on each side, if both of them are one color the gate locks. Or put flags on the other two borders and if both are one color, the primary gate locks.

    Insane... or just a good incentive for faction-hoppers to jump to the outnumbered side :smile:
