CE Box set- Can't get the staff together

The staff on the statue won't go into her hand. The pointy end is too big to fit through the hole in her hand. What to do lol???

I read somewhere someone tried putting the staff in the freezer then warming up her hand a little, don't know as haven't received it yet myself but give that a go

It's a big mistake on their part with the amount of people who're going to complain, so I'd just blu tack to her wrist for now until an answer is given. Also couldn't heating the hand up stick the two together?

"The fingers and thumb are slightly flexible, if you start just up from the bottom of the staff and carefully push it in, you should be fine"
