i think everyone agree's that sloads is beyond broken, i dont know why this set even exists. we dont need more procs and what we for sure dont need are things without any counterplay and there is zero counterplay against someone using sloads.

Serioulsy im dreading this set on console, thank god the Caluurion’s Legacy proc meta passed over Console pretty much(ive never seen it in my death recap ) even the Zaan epidemic was pretty moderate imo...
I doubt it but this set sounds seriously op a and its craftable which means every idiot will have access to it

When Viper's did 3-4k instantly it was OP, but when it was nerfed to doing the same damage over 4 seconds it became trash. Love the consistency.12 -

✭✭✭✭✭Fights against good players shouldn't last 6 seconds. And less than 6K damage is nothing. So you go from 25K health to 19K health after 6 seconds. If you can't mitigate that little of health being lost in 6 seconds, how do you handle burst? The player you are fighting who is using this set still has to burst the remaining 19K health you have, or your shield and then the remaining 19k health. And unless they are running this and another damage set, with zero defense, they aren't going to have a great burst.
And if multiple people are attacking you with this, you were going to die anyways to whatever other sets those same players were going to spam you with.19 -

(5 items) Damaging an enemy has a 10% chance to put a Leeching Shadow on them, dealing 853 Oblivion Damage every 1 second for 6 seconds. This effect can occur every 6 seconds
So...basic math here... 853x6= 5118 damage TOTAL, over 6 seconds....even the lowest health builds in Cyrodiil have 18k health...so the most this proc can do is 28% of a person's health. Can we agree the math is correct so far? Its true I havent yet played with Sload's, does battle spirit halve this damage as it halves all damage in Cyrodiil? If so, then its really doing 2559 damage over 6 seconds, or 426 damage per second if(and its a big if) the user can keep 100% uptime...seems unlikely with a 10% proc chance. You know what can outheal a sload proc? Virtually every single HOT in the game. I personally dislike proc sets that have no counter-play outside of healing through them, but as far as I can see, this set isnt overpowered. I see the same thing every time a new proc set comes out...people see it on their death cap, freak out and call it overpowered, while ignoring everything else on their death cap that killed them, old favorites like poison injection are completely ignored for them to whine endlessly about this proc set or that proc set. I have seen sloads on my recap about as often as Zaan...once in a blue moon, but the whinging over both is endless.9 -

No it doesn’t, just as with all other sources of oblivion damage. The whole point is that there is no other form of mitigation than trying to heal through.
Nobody ever said the problem was you could get killed by Sload on its own. mikey_reach✭✭✭Like most things in the game on its own does'nt look like much. Add the fact that if it procs you know you will get about 5k damage in at the end of 6 seconds, and what you end up having is a stronger burst window when it procs. For example lets say a magdk with shackle and sload have all your dots up or whatever it is that they do, wait for sload proc which should be almost instant with dots and then leap by the time they break free if they didnt block one whip would suffice. So what im understanding is that the only thing bad about the set is that its free guaranteed damage like zaan. Free damage= cheese, no?Edited by mikey_reach on May 24, 2018 3:26PM1

✭✭✭this set is ridiculous, it never should have been added it the first place and anyone defending this is just looking for cheap over powered sets to make there life easy with 0 f**** given about balance.
This is basically a constant proc chance, isnt effected by any type of mitigation. Anyone tried out healing this set while defiled or with res poisons on you? cause you cant. Never mind the fact that some classes dont even have a decent heal for pvp. Stam, completely screwed, vigor cant compete with this. Sorcs, stam and mag are doa, theyve got the lowest health and no pvp heal other than healing ward which isnt going to help at all with this. I dont care if you absolutely hate mag sorcs you cant tell me that a set a class stands 0 chance against is balanced.

If you are getting killed by a very low damage DOT in PVP either you have a pure glass cannon build without defenses (slot a HoT to out heal the damage) or you are trying to 1vX in a situation which requires you to be dead. Either way the set is a niche one for certain builds and not even remotely close to being overpowered.I play how I want to.13 -
