Maintenance for the week of September 8:
• [COMPLETE] PC/Mac: EU megaserver for maintenance – September 9, 22:00 UTC (6:00PM EDT) - September 10, 16:00 UTC (12:00PM EDT)

Those who where beta users can not change forum user name.

Robert.Graham18rwb17_ESO
The Title says it all but those of us who where assigned beta names durring beta can not actually change our names. The box is grey'd out and will not let us.

It would be nice if we can please get this fixed :)

Mine is being resolved right now, I requested a forum username change in customer support. I got this e-mail about an hour later.

    "Greetings from Tamriel!

In order to change your Username I will need you to give us the answer to your Secret Question.

After giving us the answer I will be able to request to our proper Team for the Change of your Forum Username.

If you need any further assistance don't hesitate to contact us again!

    Warm Regards,

I wonder what the b14 and b17 actually signafies.

It's likely the beta patch version that was live when the player got their invite.

I have a ticket in on this.
The first response was instructions on how to get to the profile page and edit it myself.. which doesn't work, so we'll see what the next response is.
I see it's a larger problem so there should be more heads working on a fix.

    UPDATE:

Anyone who's affected by this, please send a private message to a ZOS_username game representative with your preferred forum name, plus two alternates. Mine was addressed by ZOS_HugoP very quickly this morning.

I strongly recommend to ZOS staff that this should be an announcement somewhere, since it seems to affect users who were active during beta (emailprefix_ESO), and that's the majority of the people who are watching right now. :)

    Good luck, all.

Guess I should go with this route ^ since my ticket is buried under all the other support tickets. At least it will let them remove a ticket from the pile that isn't critical.
