Can anyone confirm that the new trial sets from cloudrest drop in imperfect on normal and Perfect on regular vet? Or does perfect drop only in vet HM like vAS+2? Just wondering as im planning out my first few days of summerset and my current builds and such.

The patch notes seem to imply that Perfected items drop on vet. Nothing mentioned about requiring any of the HM's. Haven't tested myself though. Hopefully someone can confirm.

Thats i take it atleast, that you get perfected item sets just by completing vet. But it could also be taken as and just not very well written out that it needs to be done on HM. Which is still considered just vet.

I understand it like that you can get it from veteran +0. But only the last boss will drop a veteran item, not the mini bosses.
