While I do agree load times are an issue those issues are potentially getting fixed with Summerset. As for location that is a small price to pay for the ability to give one of the least played pvp zones a good shock to the heart that just might resuscitate it.Issue with imperial city is too many load screens and overall time to get to location.
Nice idea, though they should also keep a separate PvE only instance, which allows PvE-ers to play the quests in the IC without having to worry about being attacked by other players. That would be a win-win for both types of players.

You have it the wrong way around. PVE players have been driven away from IC and they won't come back because of the PVP they want no part of.

WRONG. I used to be solely be PvE, IC is what made me learn to PvP and learn to enjoy it, I didnt whine and cry about being killed by a PvPer, I adjusted my build and learned to fight back.
IC used to be just fine before they put the worthless flags in the districts and restricted the respawn timer....back before that, nightly district fights were a thing, and plenty of people wandering the sewers as a sideline....now, its a no mans land

Man. Those weekend nights where the streets were FULL and PACKED with players. You died you respawned on the roof and dove back in. You could be getting zerged and just dive right back in. Now anyone who doesn’t control the district had a loading screen, spawn in the base, another loading screen to come back out. It just isn’t fun.
I remember me and one friend taking on 12x people right outside the spawn. We were killing multiples before dying ourselves but they kept sitting below our spawn and we kept going back at them. We def killed them much more than they killed us. Was a blast.
Anyone remember when they broke the spawn timers and the adds would respawn immediately? Ahh man I farmed so many monster teeth and leveled up two different characters way faster than sr runs every could.

I have owned IC since it's release and have not stepped in that zone once. You are absolutely correct, getting ganked while minding my own business is not my idea of how I want to spend the limited free time I have.
