Agree. I also dont know why she cant launder. Like now she is totally useless.
Also the banker has no guilde-options and the trader can't repair.
At least when placing them in your home / house, they all should be full functionality!!
I dont see a reason, why they made this limitations anyway, maybe there is a reason i just dont know... but placed in your home they should be a real banker, trader and dealer, with all functions.
we also need wayshrines for the houses... but thats another thing.
I think this is pretty much how they thought about it,Agree. I also dont know why she cant launder. Like now she is totally useless.

there's a couple of things to say about that:Fee seems reasonable to me.
Don't feel like huffing it to the thieves den? Lose 30% of your profit.
Don't feel like risking losing all your stolen goods? Lose 30% of your profit.
Don't care about random stolen loot in your inventory, just want to clear up space? Sell for 70% of their value instead of destroying.
Otherwise, go to a thieves den near you.

Because they want incentives for people to visit the towns. Having ghost towns is not the picture you want to show to new players.
The nuisance of traveling to a thieves den to offload goods is part of the thieving experience.there's a couple of things to say about that:Fee seems reasonable to me.

- point #1 is obvious, no need to discuss that it's a nuisance to travel constantly when you already have an NPC for that, so the least that can be done is to have it fully featured (after having to work for it)
- if you already started out as a thief there's no place for "fear of losing your items". nobody would steal for no profit, so if I'm to steal for someone who doesn't give a proper price I will not steal at all unless I'm the kind who does it only for the thrill, which few do. stealing is the ultimate dopamine injection.
- point #3 is also void because if I'm to decide between selling an item that's worth maybe 5g (or 7g if you want exact numbers) and destroying it I'll just throw it away because it's much faster than summoning the fencer for basically nothing

Well, that cant be the reason, because when i have bounty (which i have after a stealing-party most of the time) i dont run through citys anyway. I port to gold coast, run around the corner and port back. Even with no bounty the same. That doesn't fill the city anyway.
She is also unusable by guests in homes.
Who gets killed by the guards these days?If you're in a pinch and you're afraid you may lose everything you stole, making 70% is more profit than 0%. If you get killed by a guard and you lose it all.
Unless you're on PC and have an addon like Dustman. Then it takes zero-time to destroy undesired stolen goods. Theres no point in pulling out the NPC at all.The time it takes me to destroy 1 item is the same amount of time it takes me to summon my fence assistant. It's much faster to sell a bunch of items than it is to destroy them 1 at a time and as a bonus, I get some money for the items I'm selling.
Admittedly I pretty much have to fall asleep at my keyboard to get killed by a guard on my main thieving characters. It can be a bit more difficult for newer players and characters that don't have stealth or invisibility pots. Especially indoors.Who gets killed by the guards these days?If you're in a pinch and you're afraid you may lose everything you stole, making 70% is more profit than 0%. Avoiding their pathetic attempts to capture you is almost laughable, especially as a nightblade.
To each their own. I use the assistant primarily when I'm power leveling my Legerdemain skill line by selling worthless junk like food and drinks. If I know I'm not going to reach my fence limit for the day, I'll just sell stolen trash that I have on me to the fence assistant, rather than go to a thieves hideout.Unless you're on PC and have an addon like Dustman. If they're going to keep her ridiculous fee, I want her to be put in skimpy clothing and do a strip dance whenever she's summoned.
30% is ludicrous
