Map showing Ayleid wells in Cyrodiil?

Hi - anyone got a map showing all the Ayleid wells in Cyrodiil, found some with Ayleid ruins but i'm after the interactive wells. Cheers.

In fact a map with everything show on it would be sweet.

Hey mate,

This is one of the BEST go to resources for pretty much everything in ESO now -

http://esomap.uesp.net/ - click on cyrodiil, and it will show all the landmarks. The broken archways are all ayleid temples or wells.

They have a massive wiki containing info on pretty much everything.

Hi @Bonzodog01 I've used that one quite a bit, however its either not complete or I'm not understanding the key.

For example, there is a Well just west of Sejanus, (out the door run down the hill) and its not on there. And some of the 'ruins' are not wells. But the ruins with some NPC's as part of a quest.

Perhaps its just that one that's missing, and i'm doing them an injustice as otherwise their resources are spot on

Yeah, that map only shows the named locations that actually show up on the in-game map if you enable the full key to show everything. I guess a lot of the wells are informal un-named/unmapped locations in between the ruins.

Hi @Caitsith yeah that's better. However again I'm guessing that's not complete else AD have more than their fair share lol!! Or they just the ones you have 'revealed'?

No, I think that's all ayleid wells available in cyrodiil. It's not displayed per faction. Show every well on the map or none. I had to choose "show all ayleid wells" with my addon, so they are all there. (and my character is DC, not AD ^^)

Oh really!! That's bizarre that A. AD have so many and B. More people haven't complained about that on here lol

That is because of the lore. Just like you won't find dwemer ruins in the AD.

Yeah i guess, just with the nature of Cyro and how they try to equal stuff out its a bit odd. But hey.

Nono, it's the lore of the Dominion in general. You will find a larger amount of ayleid wells and ruins in the AD than in the EP or DC, but you will find dwemer ruins in EP and DC, not in AD. All because of lore.

Ah ha, i get ya @Runschei , but do the dwelmer ruins do anything? I.e. A buff? If so id like those locations too!

I guess that's my point. There have been threads moaning about the town placements etc I'm surprised no one has moaned about AD having a well advantage lol.

But that map explains why i don't see many, I'm EP and those two are the ones i use.

I don't feel that many people use them in PvP, so I wouldn't consider their placement to be an advantage.

But if they are, just consider them an extra buff for when you wander into the enemy's territory!

Addons are great - I haven't used any in a while (I play on console now) - but there are always a few that put icons on the map for everything, discovered and undiscovered (often with a toggle to show or hide certain icons). One of the few things I really miss from PC - I loved going through and fully revealing every icon on the map. Especially useful for lorebooks and skyshards, and I'm guessing Ayleid wells too. C'mon ZOS, give us console addons, you know you want to.

Before the buff lasted 30 minutes people would ride right by Ayleid Wells ready to be used but now it's hard to find a Well that hasn't already been used by someone. A half hour of around 1.5-2K health is a nice little buff. And Cyrodiil isn't AD/EP/DC territory so it seems like they could have spread the well out a bit more to give equal access to them.
