Any chance the outfit system could get tweaked so it overrides a tabard?

I think it's a little silly then your outfit gets overrided when you wear a guild tabard, I mean I put in the time and gold to make an outfit I really like only to get it stuffed behind my tabard.
Maybe there's an addon that deals with this on pc but I'm on console so that doesn't help me either haha.

✭✭✭✭✭Give me a drop down menu right under my "title" that allows me to choose which guild name to display over my head. Guild 1 - 5 and an option for none.
Guild names being tied to wearing tabards is a relic of the past. They don't need to be connected anymore.4 -

The game gives an option to hide it while using a costume so I should be able to hide it if I wish to wear my custom outfit no? A toggle would be fine be me, an option is always nice.
And if the tabard should be a uniform there should also be different tabards going with guild ranks imo but that's another discussion

✭✭✭✭✭I´d love for tabards to be reworked to sth like a smaller version attached to the shoulder of a character - being able to be toggled on of not interacting with any armorpieces.
I hate that currently most/all new armor styles chests pieces disappear in combination with guild tabards.<Noricum>
