Breton (Half-Elf)

Just to note bretons are actually half elves, so you were correct about that their linage can be traced back a long long time too a time when elves ruled the very same land those elves who ended up losing their empire split off and eventually receded the survivors of that time merged with the men of that region and "intermingled" which is why most bretons are very proficient in magic they have an elven linage so.

That's actually an interesting conundrum. Assuming that all Breton's started out as half human and half elven, if they each reproduced with other half human/half elven Bretons, their children should be some mixture of human and elven. So unless the human dna (dominant) is passed down more than the elven dna (recessive), the offspring should continue to be roughly half human and half elven unless they breed with other human races. At which point they'd no longer be pure Bretons, but Breton-Nord or Breton-Redguard etc.

I currently have 2 Imperials, 2 Altmer, 2 Khajiit, 2 Bosmer, 2 Breton, and 1 of everything else. 1 Breton and 1 Bosmer are being removed to make room for another Redguard and Argonian.

My first character was a Nord, but that's really of no great significance as I have loads of other characters of assorted races and don't consider any of them a "main". The first one is roughly in the middle of the lot level-wise.

ZOS recently stated in their 4th Anniversary announcement that High Elf was the most popular race with 14.8% (from memory) of all characters created.

Do you have a link to this? This is interesting! I thought so originally though, in most guilds I see there are High elves.

Breton seemed like a good pick for a stamblade archer who also wanted to use siphoning skills for self-sufficiency.

...I would not recommend the guide I used that brought me to that conclusion.

But I do still like my Breton stamblade archer.

Didn't vote because my first character was a wood-elf in the beta (because I always played bosmer in the single player games). When I switched accounts, my mule was my first character so my husband could give me the gold and unbound items from his account.

My main is a Breton. Most of my characters are Imperial.

My first character is an Orc... but of my 15 characters, only 2 are Orcs. The most common race in my 15 characters is Argonian. (4 of them). The only race i have not used are imperials.

Been so long can't remember what my first character was, but the one I played the most and got to cap first was the Wood elf. I play most races, but the bosmer probably have the larger share percentage wise, followed by Breton.

Dunmer (Dark elf)

Dunmer DK was my first. Khajiit NB is my current. Those two races are the ones I typically gravitate towards in any given ES game, and usually in that order as well (though I've been known to dabble in Bosmer and Breton, too).

Scroll down to the section "ESO TURNS FOUR!". I see my memory was slightly out, the actual percentage quoted for High Elves was 14.98%.
