    I chose Imperial purely because it is the first time in the series I didn't feel 'blah' about their racials and I enjoy Tanking and Warrior type concepts. The game has changed though and I personally don't feel Imperial is the best pick for either although its certainly not the worst either.

    Breton's actually are half-elf (or at least part elf, probably not half anymore) but they consider themselves to be full human.

    It's why they are so magically gifted compared to the other human races.

    Technically speaking, half-elf is a misnomer, as most elven traits have been watered down throughout the millennia since the initial interbreeding (at least physically - especially with Reachmen Bretons having Nord blood). They’re a human species with elven ancestry. Most people don’t refer to them as half-elves anymore.

    Anyway, on topic: I chose Breton bc my first character and main is a Breton haha. I’m surprised Dunmer isn’t #1, as in most TES circles they’re everyone’s favorite race. But I’m glad to see some other races getting love too.

    Been playing a nord sword and board that dabbles in resto magic and eventually turns to a destruction mag spellsword. in every ES game since I first played morrowind, so nord was my first and is my main.
    DK was an obvious choice. I fell into the tank role by default, especially now that S&B is seen as a no no for actually doing good dps (which is incorrect)

    Wow... so much Breton love! I never expected to find Bretons ahead of Khajiits :blush: But we're still too early to say if it'll stay this way or not :smile:

    As for me, my first char in any Elder Scrolls is a always a Breton atronach mage :)

    In this case, for ESO were 3 Bretons of different classes :smiley:
