its not like we were unable to run 5-5-2 setups before?
its not like crafted sets are better then drop sets?
so why does it require 10x the amount of grind compared to EVERY other craft in the game.
this was a quality of life fix the player base has been asking for, and you finally decide to implement it behind the worst crafting grind in the history of ESO?!
are you serious, give us a response, explain to your players why its so bad. (incoming EA "pride and accomplishment" quote)

You don't understand that this is not like any of the other crafting professions. it takes 10x the upgrade mats to upgrade a piece as it does any other profession. Comparing it to the other professions is wrong.
So it takes a bit of a effort that's not a bad thing , if we could just smash it out it would get boring after awhile guess Zos wants us to put some effort so that it's around awhile , before we are moaning for the next trend
It's not "a bit of effort" it's much much more than that. Not sure how to link individual comments so I will copy and paste this post from another thread by @code65536
"Gold out 3 pieces of jewelry? That's insanity. You'll need 240 grains. At 5% chance of a grain per refinement, that's 4800 refinements, and at 10 raw mats per refinement, that's 48K raw mats, or 240 stacks of raw mats. Each node harvest yields an average of 3.85 raw mats (50% chance at 3, 50% chance at 4 plus 10% chance of double harvest from CP passive). That's nearly 12.5K nodes that need to be harvested.
How quickly you can harvest the nodes, though, is variable. It'll depend on the density of spawns, how many people are competing for them, whether you completely ignore and skip the other nodes you come across, etc.
If you harvest a node every 15s, that's 52 hours of non-stop harvesting. 104 hours if it's a node every half minute. 208 hours if it's a node per minute. Oh, and one week of a full-time job is 40 hours. Except that pays you, whereas here, you're paying ZOS for the jewelry crafting "feature"."
This is not "a bit of effort" its ZoS trying to get us to pick up another full time job.
