Cannot hit over 46K on a dummy

ON my stamblade I am at 46K - 46.5K DPS max. This is with Storm fist, MA and WM and Warrior's Mundus, 23 points in Pen.
However, I keep seeing people doing ~49K DPS solo on a 3 million Dummy.
How? I watchvideos and do the same rotation more or less - Hail, trap, LA, Caltrops, LA, Injection swap (ulti if up so I ulti swap) and then Surprise, LA, Bow pros when up, rending, la, surprise, surprise, switch.
I refresh cloak when I can only if WM proc and MA proc are not up ( so I do not refresh that too often ). I try to get 3 surprise attacks in on the front bar before switching.
I also run double axes which seems like more DPS than axe and dagger.
With all that said, any advice? I want to do more.

XiDiabolismiX✭✭✭“Same rotation more or less” is not the same thing as “identical rotation”.
The reason you see those numbers are because their bow procs and surprise attacks all line up perfectly with master architect proc, so they get those really fat crits and high damage. The only way you’re going to recreate that is by executing the skills perfectly.
Know when your bow proc is coming up so as soon as you light attack or bar swap you hit it. Make sure there’s no down time on your trap, endless hail, caltrops, and rending. If you get lucky on your crits you’ll hit high numbers.

Now I should mention I am a khajiit and the other dudes are redgaurd, but I can't imagine that makes a 2.5K difference.0 -

Tbh, I'm not sure if that would be a DPS gain for you or not. But your race/gear choices hurt you more than any other race/gear combo, at least that I can think of. Also if your goal here is to do end game raiding, redguard is the better choice regardless of gear choice. Better sustain=more light attacks=more bow procs.
My NB used to be a khajiit and I don't regret race changing him to redguard at all. Now I get that race changing isn't something everyone will consider, but if you would consider it, I'd recommend it. Otherwise you'll have to accept that you're just not going to have the damage potential other NBs will have in this acuity meta.BawKinTackWarDs PS4/NA0 -

What are their resources after the test? If they're low, disregard those tests as they will hit nowhere near those numbers in a real trial while dealing with mechanics, casting vigor, dodge rolling, etc.2 -

Prismatic glyphs don't work on dummies and NBs generally don't slot vigor for trials. Also with all the group buffs you should be hitting much higher in trials then solo, at least for most fights.BawKinTackWarDs PS4/NA1 -

Back when I played WoW I would have race changed in a heart beat. But I probably won't. I'll keep practicing and trying to get better, but honestly, if I'm less DPS because of the tail, then so be it. I enjoy my Khajiit too much. ✭✭✭✭✭The difference between 46 and 50k on a dummy is much smaller than you think. We all know that when people post these insane parses, that they were cherry picked out of many many attempts. Lots of things can move the needle a 1-2k, especially with variables like mechanical acuity and war machine.
As to the rotation, tighter bar swaps, 1-2 more bow procs or impales, and you are probably there.2 -

Well I noticed the more DPS you do, the more each second accounts for. Also, that is true about the cherry picking. For example, I saw a guy that had 49K, but in the combat log (On Xbox, FYI, which is where I play) there were the other attempts of 47, 44, 45, 43, 46, 47, etc, etc.2 -

Considering that the average player's DPS on a 3 mil dummy will be in the 10k-15k range and all content in this game can be ran with a group pulling 20-25k dps per dps, you have to ask yourself if "i can only manage 46k and not 49k that i see" is more bragging or genuinely looking for help. It is a reasonable question.
There have been several posts over the last few months where someone says " i only do (insane) dps" and id say for most of them it was more about bragging and less about divine perfection which you have at pretty much over 40k anyway.7 -

Oh I am not bragging, I just want to be the best I can be. I'm not sure I would say that 46K is unimpressive either. I feel it shows I know my class pretty well but I'd like to see how I can do even more is all.0 -

Without cheesing, that is a rather high number for a solo dummy parse on live. So yea. It is a bit of showboating. Esepcially if he thinks the average forum user here will be able to help him.
Should be more for something on a theorycrafting discord or a higher end vet trial guild discussion.

40k with BiS gear on a stamblade means you have a pretty sloppy rotation imo. Also some people are interested in more than just clearing content and would like to push scores. In those cases squeezing every bit of DPS out of your build is necessary.BawKinTackWarDs PS4/NA1 -

To be fair, I care not about scores and more just about being as good as possible (without race changing) as an individual. But yes, to your point, every DPS does matter for a lot of guilds.
