people should be less worried about their 1 minute parses and more worried about their dps during raid imo

I agree. The dummy is a tool to allow you to show you are competent in your ability to play the class you choose. If you can follow a rotation and hit great numbers, that will in turn, translate to better overall damage in raid.

There are certain times during fights that allow you to utilize a full rotation, but then there are some fights that your time gap to deal damage is in smaller, burstier windows. Knowing what skills to use, how, and when is learned from beating that dummy up.

Practicing on a target dummy is really important, imo. I mean, if you can't do your rotation against a static target while not worrying about AOES, you aren't going to be doing much better in a trial situation.

i agree but we're talking about a 6.5% difference on a 3m dummy here during a ~61-62 second parse, if you're hitting 46k, parse enough times and the stars will align and you'll get that extra 6.5%.

A little off-topic, but for the stamblade rotation - do you then continue to use hail/trap without light attacks? Or is that only for the start.

I currently don't have wm, using acuity + vo.
