    Can every keep not look the exact same?

    Can we have more than 2 floors on some keeps and maybe even reduce the size of the map?

    An overall cyrodiil update is much needed but they make 0 money from that so the community and myself can dream on

    imho, pvp in mmos will always be unfair because of two contradictive but valid standpoints:

    "When i spend all that time/efford/money to upgrade my char, i should always win."
    vs
    "I should always win when i'm the better player, no matter what gear/level/combatskills my opponent has."

    Mmos usually try to find some middleground between those. Problem is mmos basically revolve around leveling up and getting stronger. If "skill" is the determining factor, why bother leveling up and getting geared? If "skill" is not the determining factor, it is not a good pvp game.

    If both r required equally, balance becomes a nightmare, as its gear&skill vs nogear&skill vs gear&noskill vs nogear&noskill and u gotta make sure new players (nogear&noskill) have fun aswell and dont just get roflstomped all the time.

    TL/DR: for me
    mmo: questing, exploring, dungeons, raids.
    pvp: counterstrike, dota and the likes.

    It was promised long ago in 2013 (or 2014?) I can see why now, with certain PvP bug. In PvE guild traders, glad it's fixed. But what was promised long ago. Must not be.

    lag is only on Vivec and at prime hours. I want balance, everyone to have a counter to everything. I know everything has a counter, but not everyone has a counter to what someone else has.

    I want the entire world to be pvp. Of course this would be an option to turn on or off for the normal people who are not sick in the head like myself.

    I really like how world of Warcraft did their open world pvp phasing and I would love to see it here on ESO.

    If you don't know, basically you turn it on or off in a main city. Then when you leave town your phased into a open world pvp world. All experience gains are increased and loot increased to offset the danger.

    Sounds pretty good to me.

    Then if you want to chill out, turn it off and do whatever.

    Battlegrounds are very good and will get even better with the player influx after Summerset is released. I think they are improving it with Summerset especially with the ability to queue for the game type you want to play.

    I believe Deathmatch will be the preferred choice... if that does end up being the case, then perhaps some additional game types will need to be added...

    I am a HUGE fan of the Rush mode found in the classic Bad Company 2... I'd love to see something like that somehow put in the mix with just 2 teams... 1 team is defender for a round, the other team on offense... and then switch them up. I love defending!!!

    Performance issues should be 1st...after that keeps need to be harder to capture/easier to defend. The further one gets from their home gates the harder the keeps should be to capture. There needs to be a more defined separation to each alliances zones... maybe a large forest with small capturable areas which allow port through to an owned keep...break the link and no more port...This should include blood porting. Cryrodil at 1st seemed large but now is a very small place. De emphasize the inner ring spread the fight out...There should be some where for every style to play. If one chooses to solo there should be gank points for them to camp...want to small man add purpose and place for it to happen...Zergs by their nature will focus on keeps as they do now...Just slow them down a bit.

    I would like to see 2 things:

    1. A free-for-all death match mode. With the introduction of separate queues, there is only 1 death match mode available. Which is ok and a refreshing change. But it would be cool to have a 12 player death match mode where everyone was for themselves. There really is no reason not to have this.

    2. A free for all Cyrodil campaign with no alliance. Allowing for groups of players to team up and take on other groups but there are no factions so all groups are hostile to eachother. Solo players could join and it would be them against everyone else in Cyrodil. Groups could take keeps/resources/outposts/towns and gain certain defensive and offensive bonuses while they held them. You would have to queue in as a group or solo and would spawn randomly at one of the home bases.

    Quality > Quantity.

    PvP doesn't neccessarily needs completely new stuff to stay interesting, it just needs to be good. Because unlike PvE, playing against other players offeres much more diversity in itself, even if the basis doesn't change. And ESO has a pretty good basis for PvP imo, but the implementation is serverly lacking in many aspects.

    There needs to be something beyond Emp Ring and AP ticks. Cyrodiil has such a big beautiful map with easter eggs tucked away in the corners, yet 90% of the map is honestly unused except for transit.

    Give roving objectives - actual goods and supplies in transit from one place to another, things that can be guarded, captured, commandeered, and sabotaged.

    Give Emp some powers beyond the skill line. Let the leaders of each alliance have the ability to strategically place things (Not mercenary level, but something) and assign tasks that benefit the cause (beyond zone chat). Let scouts do more than scribble on an invisible clipboard and return to the quest board. Let them actually get behind enemy lines and disrupt as only a rogue could.

    Throw some of the roaming daedra into the mix. Common enemies for a brief moment or carnage for all. Give quests whose reward allows the victor to be a world boss for a set period of time.

    Let freelancers truly get paid by the highest bidder, forgoing Alliance bonds for the ability to be a true Mercenary under the right circumstances.

    There is such huge potential that has been ignored for far too long.

    Bring new blood into Cyro. Breathe new life into PvP and the purpose behind the zone.

    Fix the lag i mean some of us pay eso plus and what we get? a totally unplayable pvp experience, cant play cyrodil with decent ping, cant play bgs with decent ping, where is the money being invest? in new content? good, what about fixing what you already have... I stopped playing 2 years ago because of this same reason, returned to the game and its still the same, shame such a shame.. on me for loving the game...

    make actions in Cyrodiil actually feel meaningful

    if you spend 10 minutes destroying and claiming a keep, it shouldn't be 100% up and running 2 minutes later.

    When you kill players they shouldn't come back 2 seconds later as if you never even touched them.

    Actual defenses for keeps. NPCs that don't melt in two seconds. Drop some of their CC and replace it with harder hitting abilities and up their hp values across the board. Anti-stealth tools for sieging and proper ways to offer defenses to squishier aka "let people intercept projectiles like dang"

    Bonuses to keeps based on resources so theyre not just for stopping ports. Make successful defenses more rewarding by giving permanent bonuses to the keep until a group successfully takes it.


    There no significant impact for any action in PvP right now because everything can be undone just as fast as it happens.

    Add a rogue system to cyrodiil, where you can queue in and not fight for any alliance which allows you to fight anyone who's not in your group.

    XvX battlegrounds. The XvXvX setup can make for some fairly stupid match-ups, especially when you have two groups mindlessly fighting one another while one group actually plays the objective.

    Also, while I enjoy Cyrodiil a lot, I think it would be far more enjoyable if there were better rewards for defending keeps (which might, y'know, compel some groups to stand their ground and get some actual PVP in, instead of heading off to the next undefended keep for the easy AP...)

    More content might spread PvP players to thin. Would be nice though if we could set up our homes to allow a few different types of fights. No rewards, achievements or anything like that just a place to have some fun killing each other. Some players have spent a lot of time building really nice combat areas. It is a shame they are wasted on dueling only.

    Make it meaningful. I've stated several times there is no point to eso's pvp other than to stroke ones ego. I don't care about a pointless kdr or how many random people I'm better/worse than, I need my actions to actually mean something for me to give a hoot about winning or losing in pvp.

    They can actually accomplish all of those with crafted battelgrounds:
    - want large scale town fights? great heres a 24v24 in the area that looks like the abandonded town near aleswell.
    - want more bg modes? great see above and heres another 3 maps.
    - want lag fixed? great, 4v4v4 BGs don't lag like Cyro on a sunday night.
    - hate zergs? see item 4.

    Done.

    Don't care for the long run back mechanic in Cyrodil, I usually have an hour or so to play, don't want to spend most of it running back to the fight.

    Don't care for arena style....battlegrounds, I choke and have no interest in min/max'ing just to keep from being content for someone else.

    Zeni couldn't have hit more truer on both sides of the fence as far as what I don't care for in pvp. I want battlegrounds, 10v10, 20v20, 40v40.

    Yeh, I suck and am a filthy casual now a days, but the OP asked. With my current playstyle, the funnest pvp I have experienced in the last 10 years or so was Planetside 2; open world feel without the gankfest and minimized run backs, solo or group play. To bad the game tanked. Also, very much enjoyed most of WoW's bg's, but got tired of their c/d management mini-game. I like to play a game, not stare at my action bars, have a addon play it for me, or have obscene macroes.
