See i would always have crashing issues especially in cyrdoiil and trials and DLC main cities? but now im crashing in overland non dlc areas, dungeons, everywhere, constantly.
Ever since they did the patch that fixed the UI error for people who pre-ordered summerset is when the crashes got particularly bad. Gina posted in my thread that some crash fixes for console will be included for summerset so we can only wait another whole month and hope. Although after today you need to take anything they say with a grain on salt as clearly plans can change...

My game crashes at least once every hour-hour and a half. That's not an exaggeration either. Just yesterday, I fired up ESO after I woke up. Within the first hour, my game freezes, makes a very annoying and loud humming sound. It's extremely loud when using a headset (RIP my poor ear drums). Then the game crashes, and I am kicked back to my Xbox home screen.
I boot the game back up, and as I mentioned above, within about an hour to an hour and a half, like clockwork, my game freezes, followed by loud hum, than crashes. the people I play with (some in the same state as myself, some in another state) and they all experience repetitive crashing as well, whether we're all grouped, or not.
What's really annoying, is when we're clearing dungeons, and we all crash at least once, at different times in the dungeon and have to wait to load back in.
I'm sure many more people are experiencing this too?

I haven't experienced the symptoms you've described in many months, although it happened quite a bit before the last few updates. I've played about 700 hours and my wife, on her own Xbox, has played close to 1000 hours, we've found ESO to be pretty stable lately. I've never been to Cyrodiil so I can't comment on that and we haven't tried any dungeons yet.
You should probably post this in the Xbox technical support section and open a ticket, if you haven't already.

I already posted in the Xbox support section and finally got a comment on it. Nothing is going to be done outside of what fixes they already had planned for the chapter so it's wait and hope at this stage.

It could be that they are experiencing crashes under different circumstances than you or other players. I would still post there, since it is an Xbox technical issue, and they may have not tried the "usual" troubleshooting recommendations. It can't hurt to try opening a customer support ticket as well, while waiting for future fixes.
A Microsoft product crashing, imagine that !

Do you experience that really loud hum that goes on for about 5-6 seconds after the game freezes?
Is the console making noise here?BozzyTheDrummer wrote: »Just yesterday, I fired up ESO after I woke up. Within the first hour, my game freezes, makes a very annoying and loud humming sound. It's extremely loud when using a headset (RIP my poor ear drums).

Was thinking I'd have to replace my hardware/SSD soon, but thanks to your post, it became more likely for me that it could be an issue around ESO.
Would be interesting to know if there're more PS4 players affected - and of course if it's solely a console problem.

This could be a console related problem. PS4/PS4 Pro models can also have this occur during really taxing gameplay sessions.
A forum I visit out side of this one, calls it 'Console Lottery'. It basically means, not all consoles are built equally. Some die more quicker, have more blatant issues then others. Check out this picture of two Nintendo Switches side-by-side. One screen is warmer/red, the other is cold/bluer. There is no way to fix these display issues.
