Help! I can’t escape!

Every once in awhile when I log in, I find that the ESC key doesn’t work in-game (this is obviously a PC-only issue), and I have to use ALT to exit menus, and /exit or /quit to logout or quit. Is this just a problem with my system or do other people experience this? I’ve asked in chat and no one speaks up and says they’ve had it happen to them.

yup, had that happen. altf4 out reboot launcher, problem solved. i have no idea why it happens.0 -

It has happened to me mostly since Update 18... Do you run the Photographic add-on which removes the cross-hair cursor?? I found that exiting menus with the "option" key is disabled, periodically...0 -

For addons I run Advanced Filters, MM, Awesome Guild Store, Skyshards, Lorebooks, and Multicraft. Its entirely possible that one of these addons is causing this, but it’s so infrequent, and these addons make the game so much more convenient, that I’m willing to put up with it.0 -
Annalyse✭✭✭✭✭Are your addons up to date? I had this issue crop up a couple of times, but since updating my addons it seems to have disappeared. I use the same ones as you (plus a few more).0
