Artaeum map extra island?

On the Artaeum map, what is that extra island/land mass to the south that you can't see all of? It's got buildings on it.

i keep meaning to check it out, but I wonder if it will be the future site of a big psijiic style house.

Yeah that would be awesome. I just wonder why its there unless it's for some purpose...

I've been trying to swim around to get a look at it, but it seems like you may need to follow the psijiic questline to access that side of the island. Theres invisible walls stopping me from swimming around, and id rather not spoil the story.

Perhaps someone else who has finished the line can comment?

I only tried briefly to get a look across while doing the quest line and didn't manage then. You only access a piece of beach on the south east of artaeum iirc.

The main psijic quest line does not take you to that side of the island. There is a delve and some side quests on Arteum that I didn't do - perhaps one of those will take us to where we can see that other island and the structure on it.

i was assuming that it requires a quest to access the artaeum beach area, and that path you can see on the map . if you can get to that area, perhaps swimming around would afford a view of the other island?

That side quest stays in the delve and there's no other exit.
