Chat Channels Still Disappearing on Xbox

When trying to switch in-game voice chat channels there is a very good chance that trying to join the channel will cause it to disappear from the list and the only way to fix is to re-log. Myself, and friends/guild-mates are constantly losing chat channels and have been since the CwC patch. There are threads from 4 months ago bringing this issue to your attention and yet it continues to go un-fixed. This is NOT a minor issue. Communication is key in this game for much of the content and anything that forces the player to re-log is a huge inconvenience. Please stop ignoring console players and please stop ignoring this issue. 4 months to fix something is absolutely wild and unheard of.

It's literally destroying guild PvP. Multiple people have to re-log every session. Also like half the time I drop into a BGs match I lose it.

I keep hoping that someday this will be fixed. Obviously, it's not game breaking, but it is absolutely soul-crushingly annoying; partly because it's like a really bad lottery and you never know when it's going to be your unlucky day.

Typical situation:
You're ungrouped but in Guild Chat.
You receive and accept a group invitation.
The game inexplicably and annoyingly automatically switches you to Group Chat.
Group Chat disappears and you are in no chat channels.
You try to rejoin Guild Chat, or any chat, and that channel disappears as well.
You reset the game because you have to and mutter obscenities also because you have to.

We need information on this.

It's been well over 4 months. Will it be fixed in the summer in the next chapter? End of 2018? 2019? The amount of times that this issue has caused me to re-log is just unbelievable.

Another patch today and still no fix for this. I logged in early this morning and saw the update and actually got excited that y'all finally took care of this after 4 and a half months.

@ZOS_GinaBruno we're trying to get back into the game and bring some guildies back.

How do you think it goes over when we have to tell them about the way chat disappears and how to fix it?

They won't even explore the new content if they have to relog multiple times every time they play if they want to talk to their friends.

If you guys would fix silly stuff like this, it'd be a lot easier to retain and coax ppl back.

What do you forsee happening when you release the next chapter and this issue still exists?

Or is it still the case that this subthread is still ignored because it pertains to things that need fixing, rather than fun irl costume ideas?

I want to make sure this doesnt fall by the wayside as well. Please fix this or at the very least acknowledge you know about it. It has been happening the folks in my guild for months.....we pvp a lot, run trials....dungeons.... the whole deal and to lose chat is becoming a real hassle for all involved.... Please give this a looksie..... 90% of my guild are all eso plus subscribers....we have over 300 members....so please give this some attention...

i was logged in today..... went to go to guild chat 1 and all i had was area chat....everything else was gone.... had to hard reboot 3 times..... 3 times! bueller, bueller, bueller, anyone, bueller

The fact that summerset is imminent and they haven't even popped in here to tell us it will be fixed for summerset, makes me really worried that it will go unfixed forever like other stuff in this game (mounts, lightning staves, activity finder, list goes on....)

I agree which is a real bummer. Although, chat has been so bad this entire weekend it makes me think maybe they were working on it this weekend. Like it was so bad, a dude would be talking and then he just would go silent and he would lose all chat channels....we actually had to use xbox party chat like a bunch of savages.

im also losing group text chat. utterly insane that a company worth over a billion dollars cant fix a small in game feature
in a reasonable time frame.

Can't say I've had my guild chats dissapear, I don't really use it much though.Although I have noticed all sound will go out in group and guild chat and seems like the only way to fix it is to do a hard reset.

Weve got members of our guild holding out getting eso plus until chat is fixed. Shall i just tell them to forget it? At the very least, please acknowledge its an issue you. this past weekend was chat madness...
