Guild Banking - Auto Stack Items?

Has there been any discussion of late about adding auto stack to items when dropped in the guild bank?

Personal banking already has this feature. Is this different on PC or do you guys just use addons?

I think it would be great if this changed. Like really great.

Not a new idea, but certainly would improve the QoL of guilds.

One of a long list of guild bank improvements that are needed I'm afraid ...

Youngsters, all. You do not remember how it was, back then, when guild bank auto stacking worked. Hard times those were... People found out the trick... Items were duped, tempers flooded the markets... Evil ones got filthy rich and those of us not participating were driven to ruin...

Oh the horror... Thousands starved, billions were killed because they didn't have access to the public health system.

How can you even suggest such a thing?

It's needed for sure.

But as @Leandor said people exploited it and rather than fix that they removed stacking as a work around.
