Has there been any discussion of late about adding auto stack to items when dropped in the guild bank?
Personal banking already has this feature. Is this different on PC or do you guys just use addons?

Oh the horror... Thousands starved, billions were killed because they didn't have access to the public health system.

But as @Leandor said people exploited it and rather than fix that they removed stacking as a work around.
