So pvp....i love playing bow/bow but when i kill peeps i get so much hate about snipe and i range chicken. I get tierd of the hate and desides to go 2h bow for some meele action after a while i get hate that i am to tanky etc bl.a. bl.a. bl.a. so i respec yet again and go for magicka rout so i hopefully dont have to be pushed with all the hate but damn it everyone still hates me. So is it time to /block all and play it like its a singleplayergame or just *** pvp all together?

Next time someone that's bugging out a charge (it applies it's damage well before they get to you) and barrages you with automated animation cancelled attacks + proc sets (dawnbreaker->spam executioner) try giving them grief and seeing if they "respec" and change their "style of play".

When they don't (They won't), contemplate why you changed based on the cries of someone that doesn't want you doing what you did. and were obviously effective with.

You just need to relax a bit and enjoy the salt. Killing someone is nice. Killing someone and have them send you hate whispers is even better.

Sometimes I'll even reply to them with something like "Oh, so coool! You are my first hate whisper!! Can I have an autograph?!". Best way to react to those.

OP, put that Bow/Bow build back on, and get out there. If you get a hate whisper you just tell them to L2P and let it be. Cause you're playing the way you want.

Seeing no forest because big tree in front of you . This is a wonderful community . As your ignore list grows you will be able to see that more clearly . Like all mmos a filter for extremely negative players is important .

Play with offline mode status. No hatewhispers at least. That's the simplest thing to do for avoid that.

Zenimax should think about adding an option to stop whispers in certains areas, pvp for example. (without having to play offline)

If you are really getting rage tells, keep up the good work. In PVE, I measure success by trial time. In PVP, I measure success by rage tells/hour.

I the best response to a rage tell is 3-5 minutes of trolling followed by the ignore button.

Sometimes when I get the hate I link this item in chat to them so they can dry their tears.

I don't do it often, just for the really obnoxious ones. When I do send it I usually am entertained by an onslaught of abusive messages for several minutes.

The really funny thing is my main in PvP is a healer so with her it is extremely rare I get messages though people in my group get them often. Usually if I get messages it is when I am on another character just goofing off for a while. I'm not very good at PvP on my other characters so when I do get a message from someone I kill they are probably not exactly a top tier player themselves.

Honestly, some of us live for these hate tells in PvP. We share them with our guildmates and have a laugh about it. But seriously, don't let those salty tells push you around. Play the game that makes you happy.

Any build. ANY build, that you can use to get regular kills will get hate. Ranged players are "bads" and "a plague". Tanks are "bads" and "a plague". Melee roll dodgers are "bads" and "a plague". Only the kind of build the complainer is using is morally acceptable and requires effort and skill. If you change builds based on the feedback of those you kill you'll end up fighting with a bucket and mop...

You know.. There is a counter to bow or bow build; such as another toon with bow/snipe, or magsorc with brutal-ass heavy inferno blasts and other range skillset, or how about a magDK with chain? How would you like to get hit by Flying Blades or Shrouded Daggers, or those Swallow Souls from a magblade? Every toon/class has its plus and minuses and can always be countered by other toons/classes' skillsets and abilities. Well, unless you them crazy-ass NBs keep spamming cloak. Good Lord, can I just get some paint splashes on them already. Ha ha. Keep playing what you like or good at and not to succumb to crybabies or whatnot. Switch to 2H, if it's something you are intrigued about and not to accommodate somebody or something.

You play how you want to play it's your game your hard earned free time and cash spent

How ever ... I'm not sure you have heard of SC rule that you need to abide by ...

And that's send all proven great dueling and PvP builds to me so I can copy them cry when I can't make them work
