Scalecaller Peak dlc and ogre's poison

Wanderer_13
Why my ritual of retribution does not clean warrior-ogre's poison? It's not fair!

Pretty sure Purge does. Because templars are op already.

I never equip ritual/purge/whatever, because the stuff that's worth purging can't be.

That said, I've done no trials and only 2 DLC dungeons.

So where in PvE IS it worth the trouble to equip a condition cleanse?

Not too many places come to mind, and I’d say it’s generally more useful for pvp. But the hunter-killers and council in halls of fabrication, st. Llothis and st. Olms in asylum sanctorium, ulfnor and Sabina in fang lair, and I think (but am less sure on) the strangler fights in bloodroot forge and velidreth in cradle of shadows are all instances where you can effectively use purge abilities in pve.

I guess you were not in scalecaller peak. Believe me that ability would be handy there (if it would work)

    Well lorewise, to be fair,
the disease comes from the daedric prince of pestilence. It’s no surprise us mere mortals can’t cleanse it on our own

Also if it helps you out, I think the ogre’s heavy attack puts a defile on you that significantly reduces healing received. You’d still have to outheal the poison, but it probably seems a lot worse than it need be if you’re getting the debuff as well.

No way. The templars are using aedric light (of Stendar, to be precise) for cleanse and attack, wich is kinda must work against all daedra.
