Are they allowed?? If so is there a minimap??

    I hear that AUI works but have not tested it yet. Voltan's does not work yet unfortunately.

    Several addons are currently having issues due to changes to hook functions. Addon authors all over the place are working on updates.

    PTS noob here. How do I enable my live server addons to the PTS?

    Quite frankly, I avoid addons on the PTS. Most of them don't work, and until they are updated may just give you lots of issues.

    If you choose to use them anyway, then just check the box to allow outdated addon and hope it will work.
    Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    Copy them from your live add-ons folder to your PTS add-ons folder.

    The only things I really missed were my Voltan's Minimap and the S'rendarr buff timers. It would be nice if there were a default/toggleable minimap as part of the game.

    Voltan's minimap now works on PTS. I limit add-ons but a minimap is critical. S'rendarr seems to be working as well.

    i use a few addons on pts.

    i have an old version of lui that shows damage as it occurs (the old way) much like combat cloud.

    i really wish they hadn't changed it. :)

    welcome news that we can get a minimap working, now. i really miss that one.

    Can confirm, thanks. Also can report that Harvestmap is working as well, even shows Giant Clams and Psijic Portals.

    Yes, addons are allowed on the PTS, but multiple addons wont work on the PTS, and wont most likely be updated for the PTS. If you have issues running one addon, try using older versions until you find one that works.

    It sounded you had already installed the Addons on the PTS version since you were looking to allow them. Yes, you need to point Minion to it if your using that to manage the Addons

    Not always the case. That's where a lot of testing is done, and once addons are uploaded to ESOUI 2 different patch versions can be specified for compatibility. For this upcoming patch, quite a few functions got changed, so if anything PTS will have the working updates sooner.
