Would you like to see Temporary mounts in Crown Crates?

That makes no sense from a consumer standpoint.

The only reason we have limited time only stuff is to create artitificial scarcity. We don't need temporary "hey you won this prize, but only for a month" mounts as well.

Say you attain a 7-day mount from the daily rewards you would then have a "taste" of the Radiant APEX mount and want to buy more crates to try for the permanent one.

Revenue means better content for us.

If ZOS wants my money, I've told them how they can get it.

Put items straight in the Crown Store. Crown Crates are a waste of my money. No, diluting the Daily Rewards with temporary mounts (which is what your suggestion amounts to) isn't going to change that. I'm aware ZOS won't change their decision to use Crown Crates, but I'm not buying them.

It seems to be this "Knowledge" don't have a very good reputation on these forums lol, and I rarely come here. So I guess take my posts as an unbiased opinion on how I would take that idea and make it a bit more friendly.

What I don't understand about forums, and why I rarely come here, people give ideas that suck (like this one) and yet instead of being constructive and saying how it COULD work better (like I did), they rage. While the OP is out of his mind with the original idea, so are the ragers. :P

Not giving him any credit. Just know that the money hungry machine that is ZOS will do anything to squeeze every penny they can from us...

Great idea, let's make permanent apex mounts even harder to get and flood the loot table with temporary versions so that the players are actually just GIVING us money for nothing in return.

Worst idea I've ever heard.
It's bad enough that one day this game will fold, and all the money we've spent on it will disappear. Temporary items that we can't even have for long is the STUPIDEST idea I've ever heard. That would be like throwing money in the toilet.

Because it’s hard enough to get a permanent mount outta the crates never mind a temporary one. People are spending hundreds of pounds/dollars on these things, and to get a 7/30 day mount? How does that appeal to anyone?

I would find it upsetting. I immerse easily and get attached to stuff. The only way for me to avoid that upset would be to avoid all temporary mounts and make sure I did not accidentally get one, which would also mean never opening crates.

Now Proposed: Let's pay real money for crates for a gambling chance to win the ability to rent a cool mount for a limited amount of time then have it go away again.

If you think Crown Crate revenue is determining how much content we get, look at recent DLCs. There hasn't been a truly substantial DLC since Wrothgar, as it had nearly more content than each of the two Chapters we've gotten.

And adding TEMPORARY mounts to the Crates is just about the most ludicrous idea out there.

This sounds like a very poor idea. Why would you put a temporary item in a crown crate? I could get behind the idea if it was a free, in-game, limited time item or event. But not as a crown crate item. That's a recipe for disaster, especially if you were a player who got one of these items, and were not aware of it being temporary.
