So for my new DPS build i need Domihaus helmet in Falkreath Reach.. and nobody in my guilds wanted or was interested in doing it so PUGs it is ...

(PS ive never finished it as people rage quit but i know the all mechanics )

So que as my dps.. waited 30 min no luck... log off.. log in my healer go in.

So 1 tank , 2 dps and me heals..
The other dps was only cp 270 but he was ok.. we went as far as Cernunnon and that is where things went bad, we managed to get him to second stage but people were were getting hit by ghost and overlaying in red circles so went nowhere, the tank left and the low cp left as well as he said he didn't have enough DPS. so it was me and this other cp 720 cp , we started talking and he was impressed with my healing which made me fell good

eventually we got a tank and a dps so off we went.

Even then we were having a problem so the original DPS cp720 by now send me friend request and suggested he usually dose this with with 3dps and one tank to which i was more then happy to go with. So off we went 3dps now and one tank.

Cernunnon had no chance lol we got him and the next boss with ease and went to Domihaus this is where problems started.

DPS was not a problem we managed to get him down each time to 24% but never managed to burn him, the tank was forgetting to taunt him so he would not one shot people , the new DPS kept on dying so we were there for a long time im talking 3hr long time.. by this time the original dps wanted to leave.

Eventually the original dps said let me go tank and tank will change to dps , the old tank was saying how he dose 35k dps ect .. so we changed and tried again... lets just say you can do 100k dps but if you are 80% of times dead you are dealing 0 DPS .. we were wondering why is he dying so quickly when he said next time he wanted to do no death runs here ect. as if....... Anyway i was loosing all hope to ever finishing this and getting my helmet and the original DPS said he will stay here as he is determinant that i finish it lol ( what a champ!) so after number of tries and deaths last one standing were usually just me and new tank .. the other dps left he had enough.. at this stage the now new tank said let me get another good dps... he got his friend in ... and we finished it first go!

And the new dps gave me his heavy helmet i needed for my dps build!

Ohh what a night 4hr of playing for something that should of lasted no more then 1 hr.

I know we all have bad stories but sometimes some good comes out of it

I know ive help allot of people through the years of playing ESO and i don't do it for thank yous ect i do it because i want to and it was nice getting that return.

So i want to say thank you to the original DPS / new tank who stuck by me and was determinant for me to finish it and got me to finish Falkreath Reach even when he didn't have he could of left within 30 min like everybody else but he didn't. And new DPS for giving me the helm!

To me this makes a community of ESO so good, when random people help you out, not because of gold or they want something out of it but just because they want to help you.

So thank you.

Put the call out in discord the other day about doing a vDSA run, because I still am lacking a Bow and an Axe
It took a few days but finally got a run together
Except one person drops out because they are running vMoL instead
So after a bit of wrangling we get a group of 4 together, and decide to go with 3 DPS 1 Tank
Group ends up as DK tank, 2 Stam Sorcs and a Mag sorc
And given as we had no healer, both of us Stam Sorcs decide to rock the Vigor + Surge combo in order to keep the group alive
So the run starts and we flawless the first round.
It's amazing how quickly bosses die when you have three DPS's all with Atronachs
The second round goes pretty well, but the boss decides to cheat and one shot the guy running with a torch and ruin it for everyone
But we reset and it goes down
Round three goes down with one or two deaths because no one remembered the strangler spawns
Round 4 was sketchy but a wipe was avoided due to some clever footwork
Round 5 once again is a piece of cake, only had one issue with missing the quick kill on two of the mages
Round 6 is a cakewalk, but two of us die after the boss goes down due to walking through the poison while trying to loot the mediocre amount of gold they dropped
Rounds 7-8 have a couple of random deaths
Round 9 goes fine up until the boss where we consecutively wipe three times to the second ad spawn after the first mechanic
They just hit too damn hard, and our poor Mag Sorc can't finish the bottom fast enough to get back up to help us
So someone has the bright idea of popping a Negate on top of the add spawn to make life a lot easier
I as the resident scumbag Asylum 2h user get the job
And as it turns out, Negate heals for a lot

At this point we've lost all our vitality bonus, but no one really cares since the run is more about the loot anyway
Thus we reach the final round, the tank sets up the boss
We burn him to 70%
The tanks grabs the adds, and buggers off to do his thing
We burn the boss to 50%
Vigors get popped, Atros get dropped
The tank returns and once more flees with his new buddies
The boss hits 25%
He once again explodes
The Atros are doing their job
I drop to 40% health and surge has fallen off
I don't care
I'm too busy spamming reverse slice
And like something out of a b-grade movie taunt drops, and the boss turns and brings me down right as he dies
Doesn't matter though, we won
RNGesus in his infinite grace blesses me with a Sharpened Inferno staff
Fortunately RNGesus also blesses the guy who wanted to staff with a bow
So I got my bow, he got his staff, and we had a blast running it.

tl;dr, healers are overrated, I got a bow, and Negate is OP heals.

Ive got two big thank yous.

The first is to the member of my trading guild who bought my columbine and sent it back with a not saying "Hey, this is worth more than 20g each. You might want to try using Master Merchant."

Seriously, I owe my current fortune in ESO to that guy.

My second is to the organized group in PVP who put up with a PUG following them around. They invited me to join their raid, and then their guild, and I've been raiding with them for over a year now.

Seriously, I owe my love of Cyrodiil PVP to those guys.

Thanks, everyone who's made my ESO experience better.

ZOS's face when they realize endgame players are doing all of their content with 3 DPS 1 tank and not running any healers. :'(

Seriously, though. I've started to run all hm vet pledges including DLC with 3 DPS and 1 tank, no healer. They have been the smoothest and fastest runs I've ever done. This further cements the fact that deaths on bosses in vet dungeons are entirely the fault of the DPS. Endgame tanks should be completely self-sufficient as well.

What a great bunch of players you came across with, lovely story, and nice to read your efforts paid through

I had a similar encounter in vet Bloodroot Forge with a PUG in which the tank was a PvP player who had never run the dungeon. We were lucky that one of the DDs also had a tank character and explained every fight to the actual tank, even going as far as wearing tanking gear on his dps on the last fight to show him how to tank the three mini bosses before the last boss. I remember them saying to the tank something like 'I have the patience to explain this for hours' when the tank got frustrated, and because of their help and general persistence we all stayed put until we cleared it, about 3 hours later

Even if it's 1 good encounter for every 10 bad encounters, when it happens, it more than makes up for them

Well during anniversary event a guildie sent me a worm cult leg motif for free via mail. I asked in guildchat what is that about. He said I was very nice to him and he wanted to thank me. I linked mm data and asked I can pay him but he refused and told me it was intended bto be gift. I was so glad I posted my worm cult achievement link and typed 7 more pieces

Next minute another guildie sent 4 more worm cult motifs. I love you guys.
