How are you preparing for Summerset?

Summerset is coming out pretty soon and I'm not trying to burn myself out on ESO so I decided to take it easy, cut back on ESO time a bit and do easy things I enjoy. I'm personally revisiting all my existing characters and completing minor things: gathering skill points, leveling up skill lines, completing their gear, tweaking their outfits. Nothing too exciting.

What are you guys doing?

I play a lot, but I don't level CP very quickly. After all these years, I am finally 5 CP away from the cap. I figure this is my one and only opportunity to hit the CP cap before they move it.

It is possible they may have to release Summerset early just to prevent me from doing this.

I’m preparing by taking a break from the game. A forced refresher so when it comes out I won’t be all burned out.

If you're ever in the mood for a couple hours of Skyreach runs, I'm @yosidy in game. I think we could get you those 5 levels in about 2 hours with some exp potions.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but you won't be able to deconstruct any jewelry gathered prior to Summerset launch. On the bright side, you can free up all that bank space.

I'm trying to gather some skill points to be ready for JC, but then I keep spending them on other crafts to get my furniture making prowess up.

Or getting distracted ... today I went to get my last 5 skyshards in Auridon and ended up getting just one in between doing some quests and a wood survey gather.

I really have the exact opposite situation, it seems every damn thing I do I gain CP, I do some writs gained CP, I kill mobs on the way gained CP, I do the dumbest thing gained CP! I think half of my CPs are from questing to get dyes, writs and other non-combat related things, it's freaking incredible.
Though I don't care to gain them so it's most likely the reason it seems so fast, the other way around it would have seemed even too slow, it's always like that. Anyways, try to do some quests chains (alliance ones) and writs, I really think those activities made me gain a lot of them.

About the topic I'm doing jack to prepare for Summerset.

1. Got a couple more skill points on my master crafter, so she can learn jewelry making, too. I probably should get her an additional few more.
2. I'm tweaking the armor sets on some of my magicka characters to get ready for staves suddenly counting as two item pieces. YAAAAAAASSSSSS!!!!!

3. Planning on farming for one more Grothdarr helm, because my magDK will be able to use it (see #2).

I've tried to leave before but something always pulls me back in. Guess I'm here for the duration, or until tes6.

What's there to prepare for, it's not an exam or interview, in my case it's game I play for enjoyment, my main crafter will only need to respec for allocating points in jewelry making and psijic order skill line.

EDIT: The only skill points I am missing is from PvP ranks 40 or 41 points I think, I will grind the ones from Summerset when it comes out.

Easy way to burn up your enlightenment is to run vMA or even nMA.

Summerset requires so many of them:

Psijic skill line: 20 points
Jewelery crafting: 18 points

Summerset certainly will not bring 38 skill points.
So you have to collect enough points somewhere else to be prepared...

Slowly leveling up a couple of new characters and looking at new combinations of armor sets, will probably change the builds of my characters for Summerset. Really looking forward to the Psijic Order skill line.

My crafter has all skyshards in the game, except for the 13 in Imp City. I don't PvP, and I don't really ever group up, unless it's a guild sign up event. She's currently sitting on 10 unused skill points... I imagine I will probably have to re-spec, or re-morph at least, at some point to cover both JC and Psijic.

So to steal an old line from a rival game, don't care what others think of it, I love the quote anyway:

"You are not prepared..."

For prep? I've decided on at least one new character/class to play (orc DK) and reserved the name with a placeholder character.

I've purchased an additional character slot for the purpose of the inevitable "I wanna try _____"

Got mats for potions, food, gear.

On my main (also my crafter), have begun skyshards and activities that grant more skillpoints so I can get the psijic skill line as well as jewelrycrafting.

This is gonna be awesome.

Haven't had much time to play lately. I will try to make a few million gold before Summerset so I can buy all the new furniture and motifs. Then I'll spend the first few days after it launches only running dolmens so I can power level jewellery crafting.
