First did not people make money during the anniversary event?

CWC daily for motifs still sells well and are fast, thieving is another way to make money, the heists also make good money, this might require some gear and training the rest is no skill.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Farm ap from bgs and cyrodiil. Get overland gear that sells well from vendor. Pray to rngesus. Sell loot.
Rinse, wash and repeat. Get rewards from 30 day campaign. Sell loot from golden vendor. Farm telvar. Get alchemy reagents.
The list is endless and that's just for pvp.

All of those methods you listed above, OP, are trash.

You could do Dolmens, as boring as they get, but I average about 100 gold per Dolmen which really is not that bad considering it is only a few minutes to complete.

You could farm and sell motifs. People are always buying them whether it be for a master writ or outfit.

Selling materials is also really good as they are always in demand.

That is how I make gold. Market flipping is probably not the best idea to be honest.

If u dont have a job, u could always log in at night and farm some telvars for a few hrs, could easily make a mil gold if not too many ppl around :)

With the new gifting system, it will be easier and more efficient to work a real job and use that money to buy crowns to trade for gold.

Buy low from people who don’t know what things are worth and sell high. For example, I found an elegant infused lightning staff the other day for 5k. Sold it for 100k overnight: took me a few minutes to find it n list it. Easy money. There are great deals like that available every day and lots of them. Just have to look. I started at 2 mil a couple months ago and just got to 7 mil from doing this. Of course there are other ways too, but I’d rather spend a couple hours checking guilds and then be play the actual game rather than do a bunch of dailies and grind some mats. To each their own tho.

Step 1 - Join at least one trading guild
Step 2 - Get Tamriel Trade Center addon
Step 3 - Get Master Merchant addon
Step 4 - Visit various traders (I tend towards out of the way traders, other use popular traders)
Step 5 - Buy low (by comparing prices in MM and TTC)
Step 6 - Post on your trader for market value
Step 7 - Rinse and repeat

I've made about 300K by doing that casually over the last month. If you follow the steps, I don't see why you couldn't have over 1 million gold in 3-4 months.

Well no worries there. Anyone who gathered 100k gold would know that motif doesn't worth that much.

None of that, instead just play the game, decon gear, sell motifs, sell gear high in demand and not bound.

This is when I really wish PS4 allowed add ons! I am never sure if the PC Tamriel Trade Centre / master merchant prices are comparable to PS4. Everything, like market value, just takes so much longer to figure out on consol.

I have been sticking to thieving but it quite slow and gets dull! I just want enough gold for a decent house!

    None of the above!

    This is the answer.

Playing the game and not wasting gold is the way to make it. Also, writs on multiple characters adds up fast.

first of all, all of the poll options imply that you have gold in the first place. and second while you can make profit doing those activities they are not the ONLY way to make gold.

I don't disclose how i make my gold. But i will say this: EVERYTHING can be sold to someone, So sell EVERYTHING. all you gotta do is find the price. Most items have a value and can be sold, if not to a person then to a vendor. some items you need to assemble and others you need to break down. figure this out and you can have all of the gold you need.

Just look on youtube theres a boyuant arminger chest farm with 70 chest locations , i run it everyday b4 i go into PvP started in feb with 6 mil in the bank now i got 19.6 mil

Along the way you will see lots of nodes to pick up that also adds to the income .

Just dont leave any junk in the chests /nodes . Take it all and keep moving

None ... Hit a group dungeon with a fast respawn and an assistant.

Kill sell kill sell kill sell

You can also steal a number of treasures each day n sell them

Much better than spending gold to make gold. In fact the whole trader system is bad for making gold for anyone less than a full time trading specialist player

Flipping goods is the quickest way to make millions. Anyone who says otherwise either wasn't doing it right, didn't actually try it, or is against it on principle. Once you get a good system set up, you can make millions every day with minimal time investment. Getting a system set up is going to be a big time investment though.

Sure you can make 20k-100k an hour consistently in game doing various different activities. Flipping goods makes 20k-100k look like chum change.

I've flipped goods and made plenty of gold but personally, I don't care to keep up with it.

Browse the Guild Stores, look for cheap items, and sell them at a higher price, (this one's tricky, you really have to know the market, as well as know that you can safely undercut fellow Guildmates in order to make a solid profit - yes, undercut them, making Gold is a dog-eat-dog business).

Farm Tel Var Stones in the Imperial City, and spend them on Alchemy boxes - with a hefty load of Tel Var, you can rack up some very nice amounts of materials that can net you a respectable amount of Gold per day. They sell quickly, and you can buy a whole load of them; I really like this method. It might not be the best, but it's easy, and it still works with decent speed!

Dedicate a few hours per day, (if possible), to farming/grinding when there's an event on. I made about 600k Gold during the recent Anniversary event, farming Boxes on an average of 2 of my 8 characters per day. The better the possible rewards, the more you should think about seriously going for them - you'll eventually get something worth a very nice amount of Gold. I know that I could have safely made at least 1,000,000 Gold if I'd been more vigilant with farming, (and if I hadn't given away 2 Worm Cult Chests Motifs to friends... :p ).

I get my millions from selling gear and motifs i get from random zones and delves.

A large chunk comes from selling mats and master writs i get from doing crafting writs. Also get about 40k a day from doing the writ quests on my guys. So that alone adds up.

I prefer to buy gold crafting mats that are 99% under priced and resell.

    dzLNaz6.jpg

Listing fee and tax are 10% of the price, so if you sell for 10% more than you bought it for you don't make any money. You just make your guild sales really high.

Bleh, none of the above. Here's what I do:

    1) convert an underused stam toon to a Usain Bolt mat farming setup
    2) fly through Craglorn at the speed of light, farming everything you see
    3) max out crafting on every character, do writs every day
    4) mat farming + surveys = absurd levels of resources
    5) refine when you hit 10k raw mat stacks in your crafting bag
    6) sell off surplus mats, nirncrux, tempers, etc.

Enjoy your millions of gold in sales

What can you get with telvar that makes gold? I don't really PVP so I always see people say to farm telvar, but, I'm not sure what they do with it..

You can buy alchemy bags and sell the flowers from there, or sell Hakeijos (runestone) they go for about 10k gold each .. theres also Xivkyn polymorph runeboxes, they go for almost half a million. .. and lots of other stuff like gold jewelry , imperial city sets and so on
