Ok, @Knowledge... Let’s bring this back to your original post. Argonians are undervalued. So what? What exactly is it you propose be done? ZOS makes the cut scenes... Are you asking them to remake them? Are you asking us, the forum, to rise up and protest the FICTIONAL history that has already been created by the writers? That’s like asking Tolkien to rewrite LOTR because the orcs got a bad rap.

In Lord of the Rings, Orcs deserve their bad rap. They are not just 'other people' but more along the line of demonic monstrosities.

Not the point. It has nothing to do with Orc or Argonian behavior.
The point is, their history is already written. No amount of wanting it changed is going to change it. Don’t like that Orcs were demonic monstrosities? Tough, that’s the way they were written. Don’t like that Argonians we’re enslaved? Tough, that’s the way they were written.

I suspect you did not understand me. I was simply making the point that the way the Orcs are written in Middle Earth are very different from the way they are written in ESO. Orcs in ESO are tragic whereas Orcs in Middle Earth are more like Daedra of the ESO world.
I also do not think they should remake old cut scenes. I'd love to see Black Marsh come out (as was promised a few years back) and I'd love to see a proper Argonian hero in the game. It would certainly be better than the dumpsterfire that Naryu has turned out to be. On the matter of the game and series we are in agreement the history is written. I'm not sure why you feel like I have attacked you. I was simply pointing out that the original request of the OP that they'd like to see some Argonian content doesn't necessarily go against past writing. There have been Legendary argonians in the series, often spoke of in Lorebooks, or playable as the hero. Argonians were enslaved and that's a big part of the history. It also has nothing to do with the cut-scene. Honestly, I think Argonians look pretty badass in the cut scene, and among most of the races of Tamriel they can be pretty noble albeit in an alien Sleestax sort of way.

This maybe a little off topic, but quick question....
By your quote here, isn’t a thread that pushes you to react in a certain way, and certainly one that encourages you to react in a way that breaks the forum rules, the very definition of baiting?

Thanks for the question, allow me to clarify. If you feel something is in violation the forum rules, we encourage you to report it so a moderator can review it, instead of responding to it and risking actions against your account as well. We encourage members to avoid threads where they know they will be tempted to respond in a way that could jeopardize their forum account.
For example, if you're upset by the title of a thread and don't think you can contribute to the conversation in a productive/non hostile way, we would suggest you don't enter the thread.

So, by this we can assert that pushing buttons (actual baiting) with a thread topic is fine, but replying in said thread is what you consider baiting. ??? Can you not see people's confusion?
